I thought the deal would get a better reception than this....

Lovely butter. Got to vote hot. Its anti inflammatory so good for my asthma, unlike marge which is pro-inflammatory.

Please elaborate....I thought I was being good to myself by allowing only a monthly dollop of anchor? I would love to be proved wrong.

Butter is good for you (unless you are severly allergic to dairy protein (there are traces remaining in butter) in which case use ghee instead.

Excess poly-unsaturates (omega-6 in particular, found in vegetable+seed oils) are precursor to pro-inflammatory hormones and can be very bad for you in general.

If you are interested in why animal fats are VERY good (and anti-inflammatory hormone precursors) please look into paleo/primal/ancestral health... this way of lifestyle basically saved my live (cured all my illnesses, IBS, anxiety, adrenal fatigue) and helped me drop approx 100 lbs (over 7stone) whilst packing on muscle (still working on it).

Good stuff - getting some for next door neighbour who won't buy anything else, and was about to pay £2.50 for 2. :D

Not quite sure where you're getting £1 from. They are £1.25 on mysupermarket, the Asda site and in the Bilton store.

omega 6 is fine, so long as it is balanced with omega 3. grass fed dairy produce is balanced.

margarines and spreads are quite awful due to the highly processed nature.
