Brandalley are having an amazing sale on Andre Belfort watches. These watches normally retail at £1300 upwards. I've just bought the Men's Galactique watch for my partner to give to him on our wedding day morning as a surprise.

All watches come with a 2yr warranty, presentation box and certificate of authenticity.

Just googled it and nothing comes up so.....................

http://www.andre-belfort.com/en/index.html This is the official website that gives you the names of authorised dealers for these watches. Brandalley are on at the moment because of the sale, otherwise everywhere else it is £1300 upwards for these superb watches.
#7
Good deal, but the watch looks like cheap tat
#8
Ive' never heard of the brand. ANDRE BELFORT???
#9
Should you be seeing him on the morning of the wedding? I hope that you will add another morning surprise for him?:whistling:
#10
Yes, this looks awful.

A brand should have a heritage and a set of values that enables the brand to command a premium price.

As for "Andre Belfort"?:?

Well I'm sure he means something to somebody but he's no Alfred Dunhill:p

Oh dear, hope my other half doesn't say the same childish comment (cheap tat). Ha, ha, no the best man will be giving the watch to him on my behalf.
#12
Oh well I tried, if you don't like the watches, then I apologise, I have bad taste. I thought it was a good deal. I'm off to cheer myself up.
#14
Well I think it's a lovely watch and a great deal, so heat added. Good luck with the wedding Mickey. :)

Just wondering if you would have bought this if the RRP was £175 and didnt have the huge discount, or did the discount sway you?

Each to their own i guess, but for £175, there are many watches out there that seem better than this, even at their full RRP
#16
I'm sorry but i do have to agree with the majority on this thread, not an amazing deal.
£175 for a watch by some unknown designer isn't a 'HOT' deal, and it seems a bit fishy if they can discount a watch by sooooo much. How much is the watch actually worth?!
Got a feeling we might see this watch on BID TV soon for a £1!!!!!!

I picked up a similar watch, researched the brand, saw retail prices in other places that swayed me to buy though those places were far afield. I liked the way the watch looked. I liked the clear black, the water proofing depth... I would have loved the watch if it told accurate time. I bet this is a new name for a similar make.
#18
It looks like tat. It certainly would not impress anyone I know. I reckon even the naffest of shopping channels would be hard pushed to flog this.
#19
after a little research I'm afraid I'd have to say this is not a good deal. The pictures may look nice but if you carefully read the technical details, water resistance at 50m ... it's for you to judge but I would expect more for a £200 watch not saying £1000s
#20
Ok, I've cancelled my order due to all your helpful comments. Can anyone recommend what I should be going for? My limit is £200, thanks.

i bought a citizen eco-drive (solar powered) watch the same as this one on ebay, and have to say am very impressed with its build quality. it is a bit more than your limit though. quite a large watch. some people have commented thinking it was a breitling!

Christopher Ward watches are worth a look, the C7 Rapide being particularly nice.

I wondered who fell for these silly cons, ohhh look it a beverly hills polo club belfort 4.000 carat gold plated chronograph with a genuine real leather look strap, it's water resistant to 1 cm if sealed in a plastic bag & guaranteed for the owners lifetime or untill you open the exclusive luxury cardboard box it has a rrp of 1 gazzilian dollars but on special offer of £100 pounds for the first 10 people who are bedazzled by shiny muck they call it the magpie effect
i hope no spammers are reading this thread

These watches are nothing more than cheap jewlery. If you want to get him a real watch, make sure it is Swiss made and has a mechanical movement, i.e. not quartz!
