I bought one of these last year, this hairdryer is brilliant and for the price it's fantastic value! Heat added :-)

Yeah especially when you have it on the high setting.

My wife complains her current hairdryer is too heavy and not powerful enough. Is this particularly light?

Scrap that - I just read a couple of reviews, both saying it's quite heavy!

Has anyone tried this? I have an Autograph (M&S) ionic 2000W hairdryer I bought about 6 years ago (!) thanks to HUKD that's showing its age.

One reviewer says this Andrew Barton ionic hairdryer makes her hair all static and frizzy which kinda puts me off buying!!

Argos says: "For a true salon blow dry choose an AC motor dryer. AC dryers are used in salons and have a powerful airflow which dries hair quickly. They’re generally heavier than DC hairdryers because of the larger, more powerful motor, but they also have a longer life."
