Not a very good, nor capable food slicer, a commonly re-badged design which once bought will have you wishing you'd invested more in better from the outset.

This thing will really struggle to slice gammon slices (for instance) in anything less than slabs, useless for bacon.

But, it's great at slicing fingers!

play has gone down hill, cant even order from them anymore, always gets declinned

Used to shop on play all the time, not bought anything now in over a year, too expensive.

Almost 5 stars on amazon, 480 votes can't be that bad. Also Yeh its the same machine, 150 watts and its cheaper.

Identical one in red £46.99 25% discount brings it down to £35.24. Amazon is £39.99 plus £7.99 delivery .
If colours not an issue and it's going to be stuck in the cupboard most of the time it makes more sense to opt for the red one

Cuts VERY tattily anything beyond bread. raggedy cuts.
To get gammon slices cut from this is more effort than it is worth (having cooked off your own hams)
Bacon is rubbish on this, as is everything i've tried (even with 2 people on it)
If you are cutting partially frozen you will run into problems.
If as a result of the above you go for nigh on full frozen to get a cleaner cut the motor will really struggle.

but go ahead, buy it, use it & form your own opinion if you have the cash to spare, we make alot of foods, so slicing & vac sealing is essential, this generic (but badged kit) is often a jumping on point for the uninitiated, ..I speak from previous experience it is a pile of crud.

No problem, recommend you visit this uk site here as they are very helpful for more than mere sausages, got me into the food smoking "kick" whilst outlay will be more (bar ebay deals occasionally) the result of the food cut required would be more consistent.

Terrible as a CD player, damaged all my discs. Currently seeking refund.

I'd rather put something into the bacon slicer that works in my butchers where I buy my favourite burgers, Her name is Sharon and she smiled at me once.
