I like the way the first page says "Where your money goes", and 21.5% goes on handling, postage and packaging. You then click through to the order page and it tells you postage and packaging is FREE!!

I don't think you need a barcode to order on line do you??

I just ordered 2 for my children and it didn't ask me for a barcode - I didn't even see a box to enter it in!

trading standards should be infromed if it says free p&p

Think he is really cute, but have managed to stop myself buying one. I have too many teddies as it is, including andrex ones, and have already given money straight to the charity (also bought the badge and nose)

Treat yourself. They are quite small but very good quality. My youngest took theirs to school with them. :p

Re the barcode - I applied online & used the barcode on the pack as requested - but is the barcode not the same on identical packs as the supermarket scans it for price ? Haven't got 2 packs to compare, but the barcode on the white 9 roll + 3 free is 5029053010632 if anyone wants to check

mine is for my mum, but we will have 2 see who gets 2 it 1st:giggle: as it may set up home in my bedroom

The most appalling thing about this post is the VAT! How can that be fair! Or even right, this is fund raising and the government charges 17.5% VAT on the sale its outrageous, what a lovely country we live in!
#14
Thanks for posting this - its so cute, I couldn't resist!
#15
I used the same barcode twice... One has arrived already and they've charged me for the second so hopefully that's on its way!

I suppose it means you have already paid the P&P in with the £5

But then it is not "Free", they should say the price quoted "includes P&P" or something similar. We all know that is the case.

i have an issue with companies making branded products, charging you for the cost of them and the shipping and handling and donating the rest to a charity...

Call me synical (have i spelled that right?)

When you see the chairman stand up and say here's a big fat cheque for X,000's of pounds they have raised, how much is coming from Andrex......

Answer.. ZERO

Send a fiver to comic relief, there's no shipping and handling or VAT on charitable donations and it all goes to charity.

while im on my soapbox, a well known bank is advertising that they will donate to charity if you open a current account.... £3.50 WOW.

Last time i went overdrawn by 6 quid they charged me 15.00 for a letter.

trust me, i could go on.. i said i was synical didnt I

WELL if anyones got a spare code i wouldent say no......

He is really cute and mine arrived very quickly - and he gives you that feel good factor for donating a small amount to RND07

Thanks, ordered two.

I havent looked at the offer, see comments above.

do you have to cut out and send them the barcode or just enter it online somewhere.

If you enter it online, the barcode is used by retailers to describe the product and track stock. On non-perishables like loo rolls, it will ALWAYS be the same.

If someone types it in this thread, it will be valid for all of you.
#23
You can order online without a barcode - I didn't have a barcode and I ordered mine OK earlier.
#24
Well, the one I used was 5029053010489, which is different to the one someone else posted in this thread (5029053010632).

There is a box to enter it in just underneath the picture of the puppy.
#25
I got 2 free andrex teddies the other week, they weren't the red nose ones though!!

No, you have not spelt it correctly. It is spelt 'cynical';-)

Don't forget that if you are a UK tax payer, the charity can claim bck the tax on your £5 donation - they cannot (?) on the percentage that they get from this.

£283,675 raised so far from the sales of these puppies - how many puppies is that!! (reaches for calculator)

Well I am kinda running out of room though :p plus - I am not even supposed to have any because they are bad for asthmatics  oh well, dont think it would make a difference with mine anyway
