Stock looks very limited but it's an amazing offer if you can get your hands on one! Cheapest elsewhere is around £58 - highly recommended by pretty much all parents who have used them.

The Angelcare baby monitor is a 2-in-1 movement and sound monitor that uses an under the mattress SensorPad to detect your baby's slightest movements. It will sound an alarm after 20 seconds of no movement, so you can feel more confident and reassured when your baby is in their cot bed.

Brill price and excellent piece of kit.

Not the cheapest price ever, I got mine for £44.00 from Amazon when they launched Amazon Family and did the 25% off voucher!

That's an amazing deal!

My bad with saying cheapest ever... I'll put a disclaimer and say excluding promotional vouchers ;)

Truth is I would quite willingly pay full price for one of these, it really is worth it.

Looks like a good deal, but I'm getting out of stock.

If it's in stock, get it! Amazing piece of kit. Think we paid £80 from Boots 5 years ago and was worth every penny.

Edit: getting full OOS also so may need to be expired :(

Can't recommend this enough. Heat added. This is a life saver!

out of stock.. that was quick..
#11
Yep, great piece of kit but turn sensitivity down as we didn't realise that just a fan on in the room allowed this to feel movement when we took our newborn out!! They really are excellent and makes you that little bit less worried at night.
#12
Have one of these and it's great

In the market for one of these, I'm guessing it's much more useful than a video fed?
#17
Why has this expired ? There is loads of stock left....

Nice find. Getting John Lewis to price match this. Youtube videos aren't the best to showcase this but how does the movement thing work please?

A pressure sensitive mat goes UNDER the mattress and is connected to the main unit, then any movement is detected, including baby's breathing.

Make sure you send off for the anti strangle covers if they are not included in the box. http://angelcarekit.co.uk/

My only criticism of this is the inability to talk to the nursery from the monitor unit, but that aside it's brilliant.

Have had ours since 2008 and we would never use anything else. The only thing we've changed are the rechargeable batteries which, unsurpsingly lost their charge after this amount of time. Great price. I agree with the post above about the inability to talk back, but as a purchase, it will be money you will not regret spending.

Excellent product, been using ours constantly since 2009, and ready for next baby.
#23
Thanks Pixelfill the 2 way monitor would have been perfect. Just seen that it operates on a band which doesn't disrupt Wifi which is a bonus.

Not sure how people are finding stock...has been saying out of stock for weeks for me
#25
Also paid £40ish a little while ago. Never used the mat, even as first time parents we weren't up for using it, however the monitor is always useful. Because we live in a 3 storey we leave the charger plugged in our bedroom and the monitor goes around with us. Battery lasts fine for could of naps during day and then from 6pm to 10/11 before it sits on charge all night waiting for next day

gives you a heart attack when the movement sensor alarm goes off but this is good value.

Plenty of stock within the Birmingham area

Anyone else having issues reserving this online?? its showing me that there is stock and takes me to the "reserve or buy" page, and once I click on reserve or buy it tells me that store collection is not available on this order (nor is home delivery) so unable to reserve

John Lewis price matched mine within the hour. Just get them to honour it.

If your baby moves to the edge of the bed, the alarm goes off. This happened to us MANY times.

In theory this is a good unit. Just be wary you do get a lot of false alarms in which you run into the child's bedroom panicking.

Bear in mind that this pressure pad need to sit on a flat surface under the mattress. So we had to get ply wood cut for it to sit on.

(heat for the price, good find OP)

Ours went off at 3am this morning and nearly gave me a heart attack!

We have found over the years with our first and now with our 2nd, that when they can roll around, they often snuggle themselves up the corners of the cot and at these extremities the Angelcare is sometimes not sensitive enough, even at the highest setting (4), to pick up any movement.

After too many false alarms with our first we ended up turning off the sensor part as my heart couldn't take it!

I'd say up until 6/7 months this is ideal as they are fairly stationary in bed, after that be prepared for a few night time panic attacks!

The (audio) monitor part is great way up till they are in a proper bed.

Had one these, sold it on eBay and used money to buy a Motorola with much better video, sound and reception. I don,t regret the decision. You get what you pay for sometimes, well most of the time?
