Manufacturer's Description
The Angelcare Nappy Disposal System keep nasty smells at bay and is easy to use with one hand. The secret is in the bag! The multi-layer bag in the refill cassette provides an effective barrier against bad smells. The unit has a capacity of approx, 28 nappies (size 2) and a cassette lasts approximately 28 days. The bag is easy to remove from the unit using a childproof internal cuttern and can be disposed of like a normal bin liner. The Angelcare Nappy Disposal System uses less plastic (measured in length) as other systems, so it is more environmentally friendly.

If you have a newborn, you may be able to get this free from other deals like Bounty etc. We got ours through an offer in the pack when leaving the hospital.

Excellent product in my opinion, the plastic bag cassette last about 2 months. The 3 pack cassette deal is also cheaper by a quid on Amazon than any other site.

These are good for younger babies, i.e. smaller nappies. Once my son got to size 4 or 5's, it became too expensive to use this system and it's now in a charity shop. Great idea, works really well at stopping smells, but the refills are very expensive, for what they are, glorified nappy bags! Heat added, great price, worth a shot if you're pregnant, save you many trips to the bin.

Totally agree with gball. At 4.99 a cassette, (lasting 2 months) it is expensive but does the job well. You will be able to cheat the system by using your own plastic liners but I have not tried this.

If that is how you plan to use it, get the bin and then once the first cassette is finsihed, switch to the liners instead :-)

I tried to cheat the system, but as far as I could tell, it's impossible. You can get bags to fit inside the unit, but the way it's designed, you really need the cassettes, which kinds double over on themselves, to stop any smells, and believe me, after a few hours, those nappes reek to the high heavens! They say each cassette lasts 2 months, but that is based on a size 2 nappy, so when your kid is a size 4/5 or even 6, each cassette only lasts about 3-4 weeks, so it is kinda expensive.
