Seems like a good deal to me. Was £82 few weeks ago & I was going to buy it.

How much is it now?

DeWalt is the new name for Black & Decker, they really aren't very good tools. It's worth spending a bit more and buying a Makita. I have a Makita and I've been mistreating it for several years. Quality.

The Makita only costs £89.99 which makes the old DeWalt price a bit of a joke, much like the tool in fact.

I wouldn't say they aren't very good but, like most of these companies, they make tools aimed for the trade buyer and cheaper versions for DIY'er. I've sold both types and there is usually a noticeable quality/reliability difference between them. Believe me, Makita have some stinkers in their range too.

Although I have no experience with this particular model, £50 for this sort of spec isn't a bad price but in turn its not great either. At this price I think its more than likely a model aimed at the DIY'er though.
