the same product is £14.99 at the gadget shop http://www.gadgetshop.com/ViewAll/Animation-Station/EPN333625_gs and there is a 15% off code (TOYSHOP) taking it to £13.75, and then you can also get 7% back if buying through quidco. the only downside is with the gadget shop is that you have to pay £3.95 for delivery, but it will be free if you spend £30.

Before buying this its really worth looking at the reviews of it. Eats batteries, bit flimsy, only worked in certain light. Lasted a day in our house before being put back in the cupboard never to be taken out again.

My son edits his in Windows Movie Maker often, so takes his pictures through the TV then pops the SD into the PC and edits from there. The software that comes with it is useless though.

It's actually brilliant for what it is. It plugs into the TV to display the image that's being recorded but it's captured onto a memory card (Maximum 2 Gigs I believe). You take out the memory card and copy/paste the image files straight across as though you'd taken them with the camera as normal. The dimensions perfectly fit a standard lego base board and the camera is adjustable while the subject is kept still.

I use rechargable batteries and it takes a standard charger as well. Comes complete with plastene and backgrounds (beach/forest) which can be turned round to give a pure colour (green/blue) for chroma keying.
