I'm late with this one. Find-DVD failed to alert me to the fact that Amazon have reduced it to £4.98 (excluding shipping) and Play.com have reduced it to £4.99. It's OOS at Play.com, so it's probably been at this price for a good few days.

Even though I've been waiting for the box set, £2.50 per DVD is too hard to resist when DN is #2 on my top 5 anime list. I'll keep it sealed on my shelf until I get Vol. 2.

Yeah, till you get to the end!
Read the Manga mate, it's a lot darker than the Anime.
heat added though as for the price you cant argue at finding a better deal anywhere.

**Hi, Tune-up**

The majority of the last episode was great, featuring some of the best voice acting ever (Japanese). It only became a bit poor (in comparison to the manga) for the last few minutes when Madhouse decided to attempt to make Light into a sympathetic character for some reason, removing the last plot twist in doing so. I still rate the anime higher than the manga since Madhouse improved the last half of the manga a lot of removing all the boring **** that slowed down the story.

As for Amazon being 1p cheaper, I already mentioned that in my opening post. It's under £5 and you need to pay for the postage unless you order something else with it, plus Amazon aren't listed on QuidCo.

By the way, in case people don't know, Vol. 4 is going to be the first single DVD release by Manga. Hopefully it's going to be the only single and Manga aren't going to finish releasing the series in 1 disc volumes...

i found the last 10 episodes pretty rubbishy when the series started so well, i liked at the start, they made light an ambiguous charcter, but they made him look like a right noob in the last ep, coulda done w a few less episodes imo, but different stokes...etc
