Did you contact said seller? Besides which, these aren't Apple MFI certified so there's a chance that would happen.

Yeah wondered what after sales were like, was tempted to try as thre is so many good reviews, some preferring over original lightning cable.

Ive got these cables and honestly haven't experienced any issues with them. Great price for 3.

I've also ordered the 3 pack of Android ones for £5.99.

Heat added :)

They work fine with ipad/ipad pro iphone 6 and 7.
2 for £5.99 and charge better than apples cable.Apple charge at 1.74a and these at 1.85a.

It amazes me why morons are so drawn in with judging and criticising other people's choices.

I've owned both iOS and Android devices, currently on my OnePlus 3 and will soon be trying an iPhone again. My other half has just switched from an Samsung S5 Neo to an iPhone SE - she loves it.

If you don't like iOS or Apple or iPhone or any of the sort, that's fine but why you have to have the need to come in and express the fact people who buy a particular brand of device are 'morons' is completely beyond me.

I think it really shows who the "doylums" are...

It's like buying a car and the maker making you use only their petrol... you just wouldn't would you?.... unless you're some kind of moron! ;)

I think the bottom line is, without android there would be nothing to make iPhones look so good.

If that fuel was of high-quality, then yes I would - which doesn't in any way make me a moron.

Apple have their MFI-Certified programme which allows third-party companies to make and sell certified cables. It stops "morons" from using low-quality and potentially dangerous cable to save a few bob.

Same with Android to be fair.

*ahem*

Sure they're not enforcing anything as far as Apple in terms of a device level but they're making sure the potentially dangerous cables aren't getting into people's homes.

My Grandson has used these without any problems. Recently, he has also purchased the 6.5ft/2M versions for £7.99, from Amazon, and all are working fine.

BTW I have bought these in the past and so far they are VERY good https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017YEATOG/ref=twister_B012MS8GNA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 certified, no errors and actually charges which is pretty amazing.

Apple Envy as Sigmund Freud would call it.

I bought these - the first one actually started smoking quite violently while plugged in and charging. Won't be looing for cheap cables again.

Yawn. You can buy Apple cables, third party certified cables (which guarantee a certain level of quality) or cheap non-certified cables/chargers for £1 or less from eBay/Amazon. Plenty of choice. Of course it would be preferable if they used USB but that's a minor annoyance if you choose Apple. Of my colleagues at work, far more have problems with faulty Android cables/chargers than do the iPhone users.

I wonder if they last longer than the awful official Apple ones, which all deteriorate and split at the phone end under the plastic collar far quicker than they should do. And yes, I do treat them with care and pull them from the phone correctly etc. I've been through many over the years.

Worth a try for the price. Heat, thanks.

I've had this with an official Belkin charging dock with lightning adapter, that worked fine for 18 months previous. Never had an issue with an android cable.

2m for 7.99 might be a better deal for some. Hot.
#27
Mine lasted exactly 3 months before giving up! I would not recommend - anker is who I use now.

I've tried and tested a lot of cables, IMO i've never had trouble with 'MFI' certified cables, and 'Syncwire' once or Tartan Tech once charge your phone faster.

Also recently got a 'RavPower Bank' with a cable that works too, although it came un-glued so they sent a new one.

Heat for price, you get what you pay for and this carry's a risk being 'non MFI' so not for me.

They say MFI certified, but the manufacturer isn't on Apple's list.

While the chargers for all Apple Devices cause me frustration in one way or another (iphone cables ridiculously short, MacBook connector stupidly designed etc) they always last the test of time for me.

My sister has to buy a new one every few months, and she's not that careful with them. You must be like her.... :D

The anker stuff is always really good for me, budget pricing but as good as the real product. I really like them
