The reviews may be 5 star but they are almost all the "I received these for free" product testing reviews. This does not mean there's anything wrong with it, but it does mean you should take the review score with a grain of salt.

They aren't doing a very good job then! Review sites now state you don't need to leave a review at all but if you do then miss out the disclaimer, although amazon are mass deleting reviews off people that give out mainly 5 stars and not just new ones. As for the lights, I have them. Paid 99p through a review site, not reviewed them yet though so can't comment on quality I'm afraid. Others I've used seem good for very localised decoration, in bottles or bowl, can't see them having much impact outside?

I'm tempted...But the "huge"amount of positive reviews! never seen a product reviewed so much with photos and videos in my life! :|

This style of light is flooding the review sites at the moment, best to ignore the stars and look at the pictures to decide if its what you want. You can also generally get them with battery packs or USB driven for similar prices:

Ordered these last week. They're pretty good quality and reasonably bright. Bit too early to tell how they'll stand up to the winter weather but we'll see. Unlikely they'll last much longer than 3-4 hours given the amount of daylight we get in November/December. I'd recommend them though given the cheap price and good build quality.
