Was running out of water filters and spotted a Brita annual pack with 12 Maxtra cartridges and a Marella jug for only £30 (including the 25% 3 day discount). I think it's a good price for the filters alone and the jug is a nice bonus! :)

(The picture is for a different jug but the packaging looks the same.)

Info from the Brita site:
* MEMO: The electronic cartridge exchange indicator automatically reminds you to change the cartridge every 4 weeks.
* NEW: Uses Maxtra - The NEW BRITA cartridge with 4-step filtration limescale reduction
* Single-handed, easy to fill Flip Top lid
* Modern, young design
* Ideal for the fridge door and on the dinner table
* Clipped handle (on the back of the handle)
* Volume marks on jug 1.4 litres filtered water capacity, 2.4 litres total capacity

4% Quidco too! Voted hot.

This is well cheap, nice one OP!

Works out about £2.50 per filter "excluding the jug" which is an excellent deal considering Tesco sell the cartridges for £4.99 each!!!

HOT! I'm on my last cartridge and have been looking out for a good deal for ages. I used SHA1 for free delivery PCBP to give 5% (£1.50) off and 6% cashback through topcashback. Not sure what I'll do with another jug, I only got mine 3 months ago. My doctor recommended I use a brita filter as it takes metals and bad things out of the water, but all I know is that the water tastes so much nicer than our dodgy water that comes out of our tap, usually cloudy and it's a very hard water area.
Great price, thanks for posting.
Oh, and when searching debenhams, type brita into the search box not maxtra like I did.

Sorry, we had trouble adding that item to your basketYour request cannot be completed, as one or more of the products you wish to purchase are not available in the quantity you requested.

I tried to order 1 but looks like I'm too late.
Would have been a great deal though

Great deal. Mind you, living in Northern Ireland, the tap water is so good it tastes as if it's already filtered :p
#16
5% PROMOTIONAL CODE :- PCBP also works:)

Change cartridge every 4 weeks, 12 cartridges... 52 weeks in a year... annual supply???

Yeah change cartridge once a month. Last time I looked at a calender there was 12 months in a year. Hence annual supply.:)

Change cartridge once a month or every 4 weeks... my calendar has 52 weeks in it :giggle:
#24
Point taken, a true annual supply would be 13 cartridges, but that's just picky. :)

Btw I think they tell you to change the cartridge every month just to make money buy selling more cartridges. I change mine about every 6 weeks and the water taste better than unfiltered tap water.:p

Picked up 1 at Oxford Street branch at 11pm last night.

Still had plenty in store then.

If you missed this then here is a great alternative.
