Were £100 in the recent Debenhams sale to good price. Can't stick 'em in the dishwasher tho.

Fantastic deal. We bought our first set 9 years ago and they are still going strong. Truth is we don't really need these but this is such a good deal I'll put the box in the loft until the others do wear out and then use them. I reckon we are now sorted out for Saucepans for life!!

You can put them in the dishwasher, although it discolours the coating, ask my dizzy sister

Good thinking,
The only problem is they're that good that every other pan we want we've bought Anolon Pro, can be pricy but there are plenty of sites selling way below RRP

This appears to be a non-stick coating that doesn't come off as easily as most. We've had ours for about 18 months and they're still just as non-stick as the day we got them. And most things like that don't survive my other half's washing up for more than a few weeks!

just to check, is this the 5 piece set pictured or a 4 piece as the title on amazon says?

So it's not a good idea then...I did it on my hard anodized pans too, oops.

Bought some from Debenhams about two years ago also - with drainage lids. Fantastic pots. Non stick still going strong. Going forward if these go wrong would only replace with these pots. Heat added. Good find.

Eventually yes, but I've had mine 11 years & they're still non-stick. The insides show no signs of wear at all, the outsides look a little shabbier but still not 11 years old.

My only complaint about these pans is that the lid handles are metal & get hot too, so I burn my hand if I forget to use a glove or tea towel to lift the lids

I bought these pans about 6/7 years ago and ruined the exterior as dish washed them! Doh! However the internal non stick is as good as new apart from where we have accidentally scratched it with a knife or something. If you apply a bit of care to these then they will easily last you a long time.

Just don't dishwash and ONLY go near them with plastic utensils!
