Tell me about it, but thing is - to ensure getting what you want, you would have to be there at opening. Last time they had an event like this it was reported some stores had run out within the 1st hour - The rad covers i think will be very popular, and of course there's no limit on how many you can buy.

i love a bargain, but i love sleep more!!!!

anyone get anything?

I got the kitchen tap with pull out spray thingy. Made in Italy (is that a good thing, though? lol), seems very good quality, brand name Milano. Similar (Tapmate) one on B&Q online for £159! Also got the Stanley tool boxes, excellent value. The palms were IMHO absolutely crap quality so resisted.

i suppose there is no point at all in me going on the way home....
#15
I wouldn't make a special journey, tbh.

Hey I work for B&Q and nothing is of crap quality (so i tell customers). Your tap is a good one and as you know the tool boxes are really good value. And the palms are great. I would say though always ring your nearest store for these offers to make sure they are in as not every store will get them in. And for larger items that would need del try the website (diy.com) its norm cheaper

Sorry, Amy, but I pride myself on saying as I see and the palms I saw at my local B&Q actually *were* crap quality. OK, they are only £5 but still. Really pleased with the tap and tool boxes, though, no complaints. Re: the tap, are these the ones you use in B&Q kitchens? Had no luck in googling Milano at all.

Picked up a black sink today for my new kitchen £120 down to a tennor because the tap is missing but all other fittings present would of cost a tennor for fittings alone well chuffed now up to Aldi tommorow for the mixer tap.
