ANOTHER RISK FREE BET - £25.00 with 188BET

I'm sure plenty of you have enjoyed the other two risk free bets on here but just come across another one for £25 with 188BET.

Had a read through the Terms and Conditions and from what I can see, it seems as straight forward as all the others. Terms can be found here: http://www.188promo.com/5j0c0g0r/terms-conditions.php?vendorId=1630

1. To get your free bet, email [email protected] with your User Name, the Bet ID, and Promotion code 'NU125'
2. This promotion is only available to new 188BET customers based in the UK
3. If your first settled bet is a losing bet, your 188BET account will be credited with your losing stake up to a value of £25 / 30. Winning bets are not eligible for this promotion.
4. Your account will be credited within 7 days of your claim.
5. The first settled bet on your account is the qualifying bet.
6. Only one entrant per IP address will be permitted.
7. Closing date midnight 9th September 2012

Although it does not say directly in the Terms, you can withdraw your £25 as soon as it is refunded. Please see comment 7 on this post for a transcript of my chat with a rep regarding this.

Good Luck!

P.S. Ive not thought it through completely but with 3 risk free bets now you could cover your back on a lot of outcomes but will have to make sure the odds are right to make it work. Put say £25 on the team with the lowest odds to win as long as its over 2.0 then the other two £20 free bets on a draw and the other team winning. It could be a bit tricky and you would need a match where the favourite is over 2.0 or 1/1 to win but just a thought....

I suppose the emailing bit counts as tracking.

You can withdraw the £25. This is a transcript of a chat I had with a rep there:

Kindly wait for a site operator to respond. You are currently 1 in the queue

I am Bianca, how may I assist you?

Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK146059555873X

Bianca: Hi, I will be glad to assist you. May I please have your concern?

Chris: Hi, I was just wondering if you lose the free £25 bet, can the refunded £25 be withdrawn?

Bianca: I'd be more than happy to assist you with that particular concern, Sir.

Bianca: With regard to your concern, you may withdraw your bonus funds once it is refunded to your account.

Chris: so you can deposit £25, lose the bet, £25 gets credited to your account and you can withdraw that back to your bank instantly?

Bianca: You may withdraw it, Sir.

Chris: thank you

Surely the phrase "credited with your losing stake" just means they'll give you your money back, and then you'll be free to do what you want with it.

Seems very dodgey that they can just block you from withdrawing it

Mine was copied from the site too. Just checked back and has changed so changed on the post too. I'll keep an eye out in case it changes again.

Thanks

So you place the bet first, then e-mail them with the code of the bet?
#11
You should read their terms and conditions there are loads!!

here is one

Players may be asked at any stage to provide Cube, or a third party with proof of age and/or identity. All players must be able to present a valid passport or other valid picture ID to verify their age and/or identity. Any player unable to provide such proof of age will be excludedms and conditions carefully.
#12
same terms as betclic. Just scan some proof of age, email it and they allow you to withdraw. Seems fair enough?

Just to clarify what I said before - I have had an email since which says that you send an email once the bet has been settled if it looses
#14
anyone know why this isn't hot when all the others are?! lol

3. If your first settled bet is a losing bet, your 188BET account will be credited with your losing stake up to a value of £25 / 30. Winning bets are not eligible for this promotion.

So if you win you get nothing?

No, it just means your not eligible for the £25 back promo, you will get your winnings.

chrismoll
it basically means that if you win, you wont get the original stake back. Just your winnings

Never heard of a bet where you don't get your stake back on a win.
So any winning bet with odds less than Evens (1-1) you lose money?:whistling:
#18
yes, same with all the other risk free bets on here.
#19
YOU WILL GET YOUR STAKE BACK IF YOU WIN!

If you bet £10 @ 10/1 and win, you will get £100 + your £10 stake = £110
If you lose, email them and you get your £10 stake back

How hard is this to understand?
#20
To clarify - there are currently two kinds of free bet offers.

Those where the original value of the bet is refunded if you lose (888 and betclic etc) with these you have laid a cash bet and if you win you WILL get your stake back . If you lose, as a promotional offer , the betting company will refund your original bet to your account which you may then bet again or withdraw.

Also there are 'free' bets such as those offered by ladbrokes or William hill. With these you will get your stake back on YOUR ORIGINAL CASH BET ONLY. On all subsequent FREE bets the stake will not be refunded , you will only get the additional odds (so if you would normally expect to be paid 7.50 for betting 5 , ladbrokes will only give you the 2.50 back when you win, as the original 5 stake was never yours to begin with)

these sites seem above board from other comments left, but if you get caught up in free bets and cashbacks on betting , you will quickly find it's a minefield of turnover restrictions and withdrawal limits (ie many companies which give free bets want you to rebet your winnings as many as 50 times before you can withdraw the cash, and some will not allow you to withdraw amounts of less than a tenner).

Enjoy the world cup, enjoy these genuine free bets, don't go blindly into any other Internet gambling offers without understanding exactly what you are doing , and my personal advice to you from experience - NEVER accept an initial deposit bonus/multiplier.

Ah well, have done, betfair, 888 and bet clic, may as well do this one to. Having a terrible run with results though.

And if there is still any doubt you do get your stake back of you win, it is your "real" money you are betting with. There are a couple of offers on here where there are free bets where you don't get the stake back but this is not one of them.

By the way any more of these "risk Free" offers out there.

You can easily lose money on a 'winning' bet

Say you put £10 on 5 different teams to win who are all evens and rather than an accumulator, you put it on doubles (10 doubles of £1 each)
You get 1 doubles right, so will get £2 back from that game, but lose £9 on all the other failed doubles
Total winnings from that bet = £2 overall profit = -£8

But thats 1 winning bet and 9 losing bets. You have made money on the winning bet. You might do it on the one docket but it still counts as multiple bets. Like a Yankee is 11 bets, not one.

I placed a bet on this site 2 nights ago on the opening match and confimed it with the online assistant that i would be able to get my money back.
Pity i won instead!!
Voted hot!!

I've had free guaranteed bets off 888, Betclic, Betfair & 118Bet now, hoping some more companies will follow soon...

Thanks very much, got £25 on Ghana, £75 profit if they can do it.

Edit: Haha!! Brilliant, well done Ghana, thank you very much :D
#26
The actual site was pretty poor for me, when you clicked accumulator you could only bet on like 5 world cup games, not to worry.
#27
Just so people know about their withdrawal methods:

You can only withdraw using:
* Cheque
* Bank Transfer
* E-Wallet

and you need a min of £200 to use the cheque method.

Or set up a netteller account by the looks of it.

So you cant withdraw straight to debit card, so might leave this one.

£25 on Italy to win 2-1

Odds were 9-1

Worth 5 mins hassle for a potential massive payout.

Other combos covered with the other free bets knocking about :whistling:

From what I can see, you can only make selections for events that are all happening on the same day. Once you've chosen your first selection, the option to select others from different days is removed. Well that's what I've gathered from the quick look around the site...!
#38
I'm sure that there are better and more complicated ways of winning money on these offers.
But for those people who don't bet very often, it would seem the simplest way of a guaranteed payout is to use all 3, free offers to bet on a "home" win, "away" win and a draw with teams whose odds are equally matched!
