To think this case could be had for £27 a few years ago. Good deal as it's usually £50 but the antec 100 is priced the same and is the better case.

Don`t know, someone say its still better the 300

How does this compare to the Sonata III?

can fault the case (I have one) - heat added for that price. good spot OP

brilliant case, extremely well made, and not too big either, loads of space, one of the best budget cases ive ever owned!!!!

All the antec stuff, whist pretty decent, is way overpriced now.

Used to buy the fusion cases on ebuyer with the 430w psu a few years ago for £79.99.

Nowadays they're £120 when on offer without a psu.

Its a good price, but would I want to spend £40, knowing its still worth no where near that?
Probably not.

used this case to build my pc few years back. really nice build and stuck to chrome blue LED fans in which show through the meshed front.

nice lil touch

Decent case, easy to open up a kinda no frills in terms of things that make it easy to assemble but looks fairly subtle compared to some on the market. Couple of minor niggles I've had with mine:

Front Panel is a bit plasticy - doesn't look it, but it's obvious when taking apart

The LED's on the front panel bleed light through the top where the front connects to the main chassis - I ended up unplugging them because it was bugging me

Case fans are good but pretty loud (I don't need the LEDs to tell me the thing is on)

That said I would still recommend at this price

EDIT: to clear up any ambiguity the LEDs I refer to are the ones to indicate power on, HDD access,... etc. and are not in the fans, sorry for any confusion :)

The case doesn't come with any LED fans.

I assume he means the fans are loud so the LEDs aren't needed :)

Actually I have this case and the fans aren't so loud on the slowest setting...definitely quieter than other cases I have owned! It's a nice, smart, subtle and well built case IMO.

Strange, the case isn't showing up for me on the today only page anywhere :(

Ah, now I know why. Must check the date of posts. Can someone mark this as expired?

Yeah that's what I meant sorry for the ambiguity The LEDs I'm referring to are the power indicator, HDD access,.. etc.

Not a bad price, glad I only paid £20 for mine (second hand but perfect). But can't go wrong with it, well built and great cooling.

i sold mine for about the same... good case
