"Switching to silent mode saw the delta T rise to 46°C. This was admittedly super-quiet - in fact the fans were unnoticeable outside the case"

any word if this is compatible with Kraken G10?

G10 is a GPU cooler, this is a CPU cooler. Only thing I can think is you are asking if they will fit in the same case which is totally dependent on the case you have.

The G10 is a GPU Cooling adapter for AIO water coolers, and is not a cooler itself

http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/138-kraken-g10-gpu-bracket.html only mentions Antec : KUHLER H2O 920V4, KUHLER H2O 620V4, KUHLER H2O 920, KUHLER H2O 620

The following poster says that it is not compatible with the G10 - http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=77&topicid=143959

The G10 is a mouting kit to fit certain AIO CPU coolers onto a GPU

according to this post on overclockers the 650 is not so compatible, a 950 wont be either as they look like they have the same mounting system

No antec is not compatible with the g10. I was going to do this but found out the fit was wrong. I used a corsair H55 instead.

I have this cooler and it's really quite superb. I'm voting hot, but my i7 4770k is only 30 degrees under load, so...

Er, yes? 31 degrees cpu playing skyrim on ultra everything. I know skyrim isn't a benchmarker, but it's certainly under some load/not idle.

EDIT: here's a pic of the antec grid monitor on silent mode during wolf among us. CPU ID Hwmonitor is similar, though i'd screengrabbed the wrong bit:

EDIT: Ha wow OK. Didn't realise we had such 'experts' here. But CPUID HWmonitor results for those interested (my cpu isnt overclocked):

Might be worth using a different program, to be honest I am not interested in the temps but that program is showing your voltages as being way out.

Right.
So first it's "under load"
Then it's in a game (which doesn't even come close to putting it "under load")
Then you use a software read out as evidence.

And you have the audacity to comment on 'experts'....lol

Also on the 'extreme' setting the fans (there are two around the radiator) go to about 2200 rpm, and though they sound like a hoover, can easily get it a fair bit lower..

Ok, well I'm not going to jam a thermometer into it so it's obviously going to be a software readout i'd be going by. What would I use otherwise? Also the fact the air is pretty cool coming out the back of the machine. I didn't mean 100% load - I'm sorry if that wasn't clear. I find it weird that this is hard to believe seen as the bit tech delta t at 100% load running prime 95 (in the OP) has the cooler managing 41 degrees..

I've just installed an fx-8350 + Corsair H80 + Diamond IC for the thermal paste. Using Aida64 extreme software it idles around 33 degrees and under load using prime on all cores is around 47 degrees. Might need to tighten the heatsink clamps a little bit more to bring it down a bit but.

The i7 runs a lot cooler than the fx-8350 and is a lot more powerful so I guess it could run cooler by about 7 degrees between chips.
My H80 Push Pull fans work @ 2090rpm. Until my R9 290 kicks in and all my fans rev up like thunder just to cool the case oO

the disappointing thing with overclockers is the standard £8 delivery :(

The thing that puts me off this thing as a cooler is the fact you cannot replace the fan with the pump attached to it, and from the one I have installed in a system the fans are not good ones. As for the G10 look at the MSI Dragon AIO cooler I only have it installed on a very old card in a computer running in the garage but it has taken the temps from 89 under load to around 62 (MSI 6950 Twin Frozr card and load provided by Furmark).
