I think most of the Supermarkets have been doing this offer but with different/similar items.

Good to stock up because you know they ain't going to offer this deal in the summer.

I think there maybe a case for some people to sue these supermarkets for making them an alcholic.

I'm planner at John Smiths brewery in Tadcaster, and the demand for packs of cans produced here is massive!!

We are packaging 250,000 18 packs of John Smiths Smooth alone in the next 2 weeks to supply the supermarkets that have our stock, and are using it as part of the 3 for £20 promotion.
The expiry date on most beer and lager is 11 months from the day it is packaged, so it all depends how fast the packs are in supermarkets from being made - which isn't long at present.

Look out for promotional packs of John Smiths Smooth to hit the shops in around a months time. 2 for 1 racecourse entry!!! The promotional packs haven't even been made yet, but I've planned the production for the 3rd week in June!!!! Inside info for you all :):)

There appears to be a nation shortage of Strongbow, i've checked everywhere and they're all sold out. Must be aproaching the festival season
#20
Is there a particular reason why Guinness is always left out of these promotions?

I'm not really surprised, i think company's like Strongbow should be paying a percentage of their profits to Magners for the resurgance in popularity of cider
#25
Strongbow pay Magners haha! Why would they do that, Magners have just brought out an alcohol drink which apparantly tastes better when chilled and watered down! It's bloody horrible stuff and the chemically supreme strongbow overrules it again.

Strongbow has always been in high demand down here anyway, rarely in stock at Tesco!

No the discount is not showing online, but as long as the offer is still on instore on your day of delivery, you will deffo get the offer. If you are not already using it,there is a £10 off £50 spend in the vouchers section. So either buy 6 packs which will cost you approx £34 delivered inclusive of delivery charge,or buy 3 packs and add other stuff to your order to the value of £20 or more to qualify for the discount.HTH.:)

Strongbow has approx 80% of the UK cider market!!
New 'fonts' will be appearing in bars throughout the summer producing colder pints :) This is for all our brands (Fosters/Kronenbourg/Strongbow/John Smiths)
It is not really seen as a challenge to Magners, that task is Bulmers, which are in pint bottles, and are eating into the market held by Magners.
Watch out for new ads this summer for Bulmers, Strongbow and Fosters Ice :)

BTW, 12x pint bottles of Bulmers costs me £6.50 :):) Happy days!!!

Magners = Bulmers (same product / produced from same company).
