Yip OP you got the 40p price right. Expensive toilet paper and a bit harsh on the bum. But 40p for a sub is good!
#12
but only for scotland???

You don't need to buy anything, I've seen the booklets in my local Subway (Uk), just help yourself to one.

I did - twice !!!

A married couple in their early 60s was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.
Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table.
She said, 'For being such an exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish.'
The wife answered, 'Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband.'
The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.
The husband thought for a moment: 'Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again.
I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me.'
The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.
So the fairy waved her magic wand and poof!...the husband became 92 years old.

The moral of this story: Men who are ungrateful b'stards should remember fairies are female.....

The moral of this story is "What else can fairies be?".

The downside to this deal is that you have to buy the Daily Record.

Saw this on the tv earlier - great deal so heat left! I'll be buying the Record tomorrow!
#24
I should have added from earlier - we are going for a drive tomorrow - so £1.60 supplies two service station breaks - so HOT

Only if you eat the Daily Record too...

Does it specifically say on the vouchers that they are only to be used in Scotland as I can buy the Daily Record here in Liverpool?
#31
They usually always have at least 2 sets of vouchers in the year, just after the new year and the summer ones. Don't think you'd have to buy a paper for it they usually just hand them out in stores but ive only seen the ''£1 off'' ones so far..

Yeah, if you're unfortunate enough to find yourself in Motherwell then the least of your worries is food poisoning!.

Well my DS has just gone down and spent his dinner money on five copies of the Daily Record and is going to take his cronies out for lunch, lol. And now has a pile of "Buy large drink and get free 6" sub" tokens to last him for the next few weeks and thus make 80p per day profit out of his usual £2 dinner money. (I let him go down the town once per week for lunch...rest of the time it's packed lunches) He also says he's going to sell the unwanted coupons to his pals at 20p per shot over the next few weeks.

The boy will go far......he's only 12.

mmmmmmmmmmmm,

makes a fine change for us in scotland to benefit from a deal that u cant get in England....

To be fair you can get a copy of the Daily Record in most major cities in the UK; there are plenty of Scots outside Scotland who buy it.
All you need to do is find a nice busy WH Smiths (e.g. the ones in Euston Station sell Newspapers from all over the world).
Edit: Just noticed confirmation the voucher says Scotland only, is it worth a try anyway?
