Just walked past my local Domino's (Leicester) they currently have an offer on where any pizza is £5.99 collection or £8.99 delivery. The guy that I spoke to said it was for this week. (25th April). If you happen to drive past the London Road shop the poor staff are standing outside with signs for drivers to see. One poor person was in a padded batman suit.

The menu I was given has £6.99 collection and £9.99 delivered written inside as the prices. That offer expires on 3rd July and is not valid with any other offer. I think you need to call them to get the as I didn't see it on the website. I've linked so you can find your local store easily. This may be Leicester specific but there might be something similar in your area.

Don't think this includes stuffed bases etc.

Oh Dominos -- why do you tease me :(

If they sold the BBQ sauce on a pizza base for £1 then maybe, just maybe, I'd buy something from Domino's.

Can't see this being on in Cardiff sadly
#5
£10.50 collection for any large pizza in Barrow :(

This is not as good as the 50% off when you spend over £30 but if you want just one pizza then it is not bad. Still, the pizzas are ridiculously overpriced. Especially with the dire quality of the meat.

£8.99 collection and £10.99 delivery in the Ayrshire area
#8
Overpriced with rude staff to boot. Not voted either way though - better this than their usual rip off price.
#9
I'd never pay more than half price for Dominos
#10
Old news, has been this price for yonks in Leicester... they just occasionally go through an advertising spree.

Hot thou, nice pizza and i live like two doors away from a dominos so collection is no issue for me X)
#11
The Leicester one I think if you call them still do any large pizza with one topping for £5 (collection only)
#12
dominos are rip off stinge bags, suspect this is very very local.
#13
Had Dominos earlier and wasn't this price. Think I paid £8.99 for Medium to collect.

I think these deals are down to the specific stores as our branch done a "mega week" two weeks ago where you could get any pizza for £5.99 collection or £8.99 delivered, they were so busy the whole town went mad for it
#17
Each store or collection of local stores are franchises so they are likely to be specific to the franchisee.

Was just about to say that... between 10am - 4pm daily its £4.99 for a large with one topping when you collect in Bristol.

Leicester offer is good. Not sure whether its because Pizza Hut Delivery is offering 50% off £30 spend (i.e. spend £15), which is an excellent deal.

At that price its well worth it ! I personally like the pizza's the garlic mayo dip just makes it that much better :D

Meh, might just stick to my half price codes with Pizza Hut and just get margarita with BBQ sauce base...works out at £6 delivered IF you spend another £9 on other stuff.
#24
Still think it's too expensive

I'm never having dominoes again after the last experience. An hour and 3/4 to arrive and the tracker thing said it had been cooked an hour and a 1/4 prior to dellivery and was sat at the one before delivery for the rest of the time.

Grease covered the bottom of the box and was running off the pizza and to top it off when called to complain the staff were rude and unhelpful.

Good if you haven't had a bad experience etc but I won't be buying from them again.

If you're looking for good pizza in Leicester, Pizza Land on Saffron Lane do a 12" for £5 collection only, much more enjoyable than Dominoes....
#28
Do people just click on every deal regardless of wether or not it interests them? If so, you should probably get a hobby.

lol rude staff

the same 5 people work in every branch of dominoes

do they still do the mini ones for £1.99?

no-one pays the regular retail price do they? besides raw materials are hardly their onlv costs, it is quite common in the food industry to sell at 3x cost so by your chart 5.99 is about right.
#32

dont forget they have to pay for labour, transport costs, rent etc... They probably still make a big profit though
#33
I'd rather eat wet cardboard than eat a pizza from Domino's.

Aren't they the same thing?

Looks like another quality Daily Fail expose !!!! I mean the figures don't even add up. £12.49 - £1.25 = £11.24 NOT £11.23.

Also how is £11.23 the profit margin, unless Pizza delivery outlets get free retail space, free power, water, and business rates. Free advertising both local and national, employ voluntary staff, declare no taxes and deliver the pizza using well-trained storks !

Voted Hot, it's cheaper than you normally pay for it.
#36

That's the most retarded thing I've ever seen, even for the Daily Fail. Even a child could tell you that's not the actual cost of the pizza.
#37
Our local brances (Blackpool/Preston area) are doing by one get one free all week courtesy of the Royal Wedding!!!
#38
Most big Tesco and Asds stores are open 24/7 where you can buy a wide range of freshly made pizzas for a lot less than Domino's sell them for. Not voting either way but I'd take an Asda pizza over a Domino one everytime.
#39
I would rather have a Dominos than Pizza Hut. They seem less oily and heavy and taste fresher.

Any large pizza with one topping for £4.99 at my local. That's a bargain.
