Has this price gone up recently? It used to be £7.99 in Plymouth. Don't know if it still is. Really nice pizza though! Definitely worth the money!

£10 for a pizza?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good pizza, but not suprised its gone cold already. Who's going to think £10 for a pizza is a bargain in these times of mass-skintness!
#5
Well its not too bad when, if you WANTED to, you could spend over 20 quid on 1 pizza (by adding loads of toppings).
I think half price is pretty good ... altho i DO agree that ALL pizza delivery is well overpriced when u can get it for a lot less in the supermarket, but in my view doesn't taste as good and is not as much of a treat.

As I said in my other post - where did you get £1 for the cost of making a Pizza ? Yes maybe if you bought a cheapo one in a supermarket but as I posted in reply to your other post ...

Having worked for Dominos for a number of years and having a brother in law who was a Manager for two stores, I can let you know that it costs a bit more than £1 to make a Pizza.

In fact if you have any business sense you'd know all about the overheads, the staff costs, the cost of running a high powered oven, premises costs, public liability/business insurance, delivery costs, telephone line costs, advertising costs, food wastage costs, refrigeration costs and probably a few more I've missed.

Oh and yes they have to make a profit or they go out of business and don't forget they need to take a wage as well .........

Maybe costs more at Dominoes but my mate has a papa johns franchise and he says it costs around a £1. + the overheads you mention. Thanks for the business lesson. Maybe if YOU had more of the business sense you think you have you wouldn't of been working for a Pizza delivery company for peanuts/+pizza for dinner. There is obviously a huge mark up anyway...that was my point, thats why they can periodically have buy one get one free deals etc whilst still coining it in as my mate does and probably the owner of the franchised your brother manages too.

Maybe my £9 profit was incorrect...but the heat of this deal makes me think im right...your wrong

When you are a student trying to make ends meet you tend to work for places like this during the evening.

That was back in the early 1990's. Since then I've got married, had kids, live in a nice 4 bedroom detached house with a double garage and own my own very busy electronics company thank you very much :)
