I think thats extremely worth it for this monitor given that fact that its 1440p and 1ms. I hope that the fact its a TN panel wont bother too many.

Comment below if you find other good 1440p monitors.

You bought the last one, I could imagine it would be first come first served as I just noticed there was only 1 left after this offer went up :p

Anyone know of any alternate panels for around the same? I'm building my machine this weekend. Have everything but the monitor. Running GTX 1070 gaming Z msi 8gb, 6600k i5, m.2 & sata SSD. Looking at the top seller on overclockers that is 27" and it costs £500

Well it depends on if you want g sync, 144hz, ips, 1ms. The best IPS one I can think of on a budget of under £300 is this Hannspree 27" one for £180 http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/hannspree-27in-wqhd-led-monitor-2560-x-1440-gold-black-speakers-vga-dvi-and-hq271hpg/version.asp. If you want something with g sync your looking at around £500 for this tn panel 144hz dell http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/dell-s2716dg-27-led-g-sync-qhd-2560-x-1440-displayport-hdmi-monitor-210-agul/version.asp?refsource=Ldadwords&gclid=Cj0KEQiAsf_BBRDMpoOHw4aSq4QBEiQAPm7DL-PH3kUCqnQmhxD2FmLFmrQx90fc0FCDnumwikX4P9saAjT38P8HAQ . I would go with the hannspree personally as I don't think its worth spending £300 more just for 144hz and the disadvantage of a TN panel. If your a hardcore gamer I guess by all means you can decide which is more suited to your needs.
