It seems amazon are price matching laptops direct.

Enjoy clear detailed imagery with Full HD resolution plus sharper action sequences with a 1ms response time and 144Hz refresh rate (compatible with all graphics cards in the market). And if you have an AMD graphics card, the 27-inch AOC G2770PF is compatible with AMD FreeSync™ technology to eliminate tearing, stuttering and input lag.

I have had the 24" 75Hz version for a year or so and it's great for gaming. Seems prices on these 27" 144Hz models have gone up a lot as these were about £220 or so back then. Amazon even had a lightning deal for them at £160-something at one point if memory serves.

what are freesync monitors like with a nvidia card? there is no way in hell i am going to buy one of those silly priced gsync monitors, they shot themselves in the foot making them so expensive, surely the board they put in the monitors should not bump the price up so much, they are just milking it

If you read the second review its 60hz and they returned it, very confusing when it says 144hz in the questions.
Acer webiste says 60hz too, i think the old version was 144hz
