Newly released 'sweet spot' monitor with Gsync, seems a cracking price compared to the competition!

Has backlight bleed issues, if you're unlucky but the returns process if you get a bad one should be smooth from OCUK as theyre a quality supplier.
Price includes DPD next day.

£899 on Amazon, price kept changing and one day it went to 899 so I snatched it. Yes theres BLB but its minimal in the corners.

Shame it uses the same dodgy panel that's in the Asus and Acer monitors.

Yeah I think as long as you know about this and are prepared to do a few RMAs to get a good panel its not so much of a big deal. Obviously very annoying that there are such big QC issues on premium products but theres currently no other way of getting this spec other than compromising eg the Dell TN

The Asus monitors cost more and you shouldn't have to put up with quality issues at this price.

Cold from me considering that you could get the Dell S2716G from laptops direct for £479 using which? £20 discount. Also no backlight bleed highly regarded monitor had no issues with it. Had it for a month

I'd rather pay the extra £80 for an IPS panel. No contest here, unless you need the low response.

Thanks, I cant get a good pic of the BLB, the monotir has a slight gloss finish thats playing havoc with my camera phone. BLB is there, but id describe it a slight, and I dont notice it during general use.
Its well put together, solid construction with pan, tilt, height adjustments. Out the box needed some configuration, Im still working on it but colours are too warm, with too much green. Easy to change. OSD navigation could be better, but it does what you need. You need to overclock via OSD to reach 165Hz, again easy done.
Built in speakers are pants, but its got a few other features like a USB 3 hub and headphone stand thats nice to have. Overall, if you get a good one I cant see this monitor being beaten on value at this spec.

Bit late response but thanks for the review. Hows it going 3 no that later? Any regrets or issues?

Not a one! Very happy with it still, fully recommend at this price.
