I have this TV and it is amazing, better picture than a Panasonic or Samsung. If you are after a 32" then get it, you will not be disappointed!!!

Is this 1080p?

Is this 1080p?

Panel resolution: 1366 x 768

Did you really expect to have 1080p for £199.....?

Calling those who already have this TV.......
What is control of Freeview like? What is the EPG like to view / choose a program? I have found in the past that cheaper Freeview boxes / TVs are pretty poor when it comes to presenting all the channels and what is on them..

In fact, thinking about it, I'd say Sky have only now got this right with the enhanced Sky HD EPG system (and only when you turn off the preview screen), but that's not doubt a topic for another day... :)

Couldn't agree more! Had to return one otherwise excellent TV (Samsung) due distracting reflections in the bezel. Fashion over function and so many are like it now.

I have been trying to order this TV but it says I don't meet the requirements as I don't have a credit card registered then it prompts me to set up a selling account. Does anyone know how I can get around this, I don't understand why I can't just purchase it :|

All of us who got the 1080p Technika from tesco for £200 just after last Christmas would beg to differ! (_;). This tv looks incredibly like that one too.
#16
Great price! There's one thing for sure, the overall prices of TVs will only ever go in one direction over time... down! Wonder what post-Christmas deals we'll be seeing?

For the spec-junkies, stop getting so obsessive about panel resolution!!!

1. To actually notice the difference in detail between 1080p and 720p on a 32" screen, you'd have to be sitting less than 6' away from the TV and to get the full benefit, you'd need to be sitting 4' from it!!!

2. Panel resolution is not the be-all and end-all of picture quality (not by a long way)

great, a few days ago i bought 32 inch isis HDTV from best buy for 234 + 34 quidco

i must say....the picture quality is awful at 720p my 32 inch digihome TV was far better, anyway needless to say, when i saw this deal my heart sunk, if only i waited a few more days

even if i miss this deal i will spend a little more and get something with actual reviews
#21
The OP says don't forget Quidco,
I looked and came up with this code C2EBUYE to give 10% off at checkout but I am reluctant to try if it means committing to buy before knowing if code will work.
Anybody know?
#22
Great TV - fantastic quality. Had one for 2 years and only sold as I wanted a bigger screen. Cannot go wrong at this price although these have always hovered between 250-300 for past 2-3years.
#23
C2EBUYE is not valid on this product. Have just checked.
#24
I got this 2 weeks for £210 on the main ebuyer site in their DOTD.

It does come with a 3 year warranty and not 2 years as stated in the description, for 210 the picture and sound quality (after a few tweaks) is brilliant.

The freeview EPG is a bit sluggish and changes to whichever channel you're scrolling through on the guide. Not a major issue for us as we hooked it up with Virgin media but might be a bit of an annoyance for others.

Do find it very odd how 'hot' this is getting when I posted another 32" TV yesterday also for £199 and got hardly any votes at all? http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/32-digimate-hd-lcd-tv-199-74-scan-t/821877/#post10058835

Maybe we should all get our violins out for your expired deal.. oh wait, no, it's expired.

And on top of that, your TV didn't include free delivery for anyone but those @ AVForums, and yours came with 1 year warranty, not the 2 or 3 that you get with this.

need some tissues over there?

Wow, that's amazing for this price.
#28
j400uk,,,i know this one has a 2 or 3 year guarantee,, not sure about the one you posted yesterday,,could it be that is the reason why ????
#29
Who knows! Just find the voting a little strange, two near identical products at the same price yet one gets voted much higher than the other.

this tv looks at least 20% more sexy than the one you posted

I have 3 AOC TV'S and think they are stunning...would always highly recommend if you want a standard good looking TV and are not fussed about everyone seeing SAMSUNG or PANASONIC when they come to your house!

....And on top of that, your TV didn't include free delivery for anyone but those @ AVForums....
People like you make me laugh. You sit there commenting on only AVForums members getting free delivery from Scan, which only requires you to post 20 times....and that's it.
You have over 3000 posts on these forums, are you seriously trying to say it requires too much effort to get the free delivery?

And the funniest thing is, the next time a Scan deal comes around, in which time you would have made MUCH more than 20 posts on HUKD, you'll complain about it again.

You people are a complete joke.

Wow what a reasoned responce, which intellectually investigates each of my points, including that of the warranty which comes with this deal. Oh wait, no, your points are useless.
