These are on the "Today Only" section of the Scan site (linked to), just browse down and you will see them in the "Super Savers" section. Remember that you get free delivery on orders over £20+VAT with the AVForums/Hexus forum promotion. Add 8 to your basket and pay only £26.80 delivered for 80 DL DVD+R's! Or just add to an order to get the price over £20+VAT. Even better than the previous listed Aone DL deal from ebuyer: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/142954/aone-8x-dvd-r-dual-layer-logo-face-/

Or if you dont want to buy today just add them to your basket and they will stay in there until you want to order something else with them (providing you dont clear cookies)

Description:
10pcs Cakebox, Aone DVD-PR-AONE-DL-8X-FF-10C, 8.5Gb DVD+R DL 8x, Dual Layer Full Face Printable

Manufactured by RICOH & branded under the up and coming Aone umbrella, this disc has set a new precedent in Dual Layer pricing.
Tested to be highly compatible with DVD players and Video Game Consoles - customers report that they are especially compatible with the Xbox 360. With its extremely fast 8x write speed, you can write 8.5GB in less than 15 minutes!
Double-layer media has a capacity of 8.5GB, this equates to 240 minutes of video in standard play mode.
NOTE: We recommend you use a Pioneer 111 with the LATEST firmware. Also best results on the Xbox 360 are at 4x - however you should try 8x just to see if it works great for you

damn and blast. ordered 10 pack from SVP yesterday for £6.24 inc postage. Good find, heat and rep left tho.
I have had a 100% success burning 360 'backups' with these discs with my philips DVD Writer. I've also had a 0% success rate using the same discs with my Toshiba DVD Writer, so it is all dependent on the burner with these discs.
I have had no issues burning at 8x and getting the 360 games to read properly and my firmware isn't scaled back to read slower, so that's all good too.
I've ordered more tho - you can't go wrong if you have a burner that will burn these badboys.

These discs seem to be very burner specific, I always burn at 2.4x and use verify and they always pass fine. I am using an expensive plextor slot load dvd writer thou, although most people I know use the Pioneer 111 with these discs and also have no problems. So its very much YMMV, I've used verbs and Imation and these Aone's seem to work best with my sammy.

...Add 6 to your basket and pay only £20.10 delivered...

Splitting hairs, but free delivery is applicable to orders over £23.50 inc VAT so you would need to order 8 packs rather than 6 to qualify for uncharged AVF postage.

On a more positive note:
just like every other Scan "today only" ofer, this deal will not expire until Scan run out of stock.
Will indefinitely drop into basket at £3.35 when clicking here. :whistling:

I thought dual layer wasnt that expensive now? I have seen Verbatim Dual Layer 50pack on euroffice for only £8.49 exlcuding VAT and postage, here:-

Unless im missing something?

Im afraid it is the case, I checked the AVForums rules and it says £20+VAT which means the value must be £20 before VAT is added. They will still honor the free delivery but will not be happy about it as some people have been abusing the offer and ordering under £20 worth of items. They have complained to AVForums about it and AVF have come back and told their members that anyone caught abusing the offer could be suspended or kicked off the site.

I only found all this out today and will amend my original post with the details.

Looks dodgy, it says Dual Layer in the title but also 4.7gb which is single layer capacity. Dual layer DVDs have 8.5gb capacity. Think theyre having people on.

I verify every burn (the data is important) not one fail, :p
