Aone 8x DVD+R DL Full Face Printable 10 Pack

This is from http://www.scan.co.uk on their "Today Only" offers page. Delivery is rather steep (£6.10 + VAT)

HOWEVER....

You can sign up for FREE DELIVERY, by joining http://www.avforums.com details are on the AV Forums main page.

I just ordered 200 of these for £82.50 delivered

The offer is for today only, however they do them at £4.69 for 10 usually, which is still cheaper then anywhere else when taking into account the free delivery.

EDIT - Price appears as £4.69 but goes to £4.11 when added to your basket - This is normal and not a mistake, as that is the normal selling price.
- robo989

EDIT2 - These discs aren't fantastic quality (But then your not paying £1.60 a disc like you would for a Verbatim), the printable surface is ok. However they work fine for burning your legally owned Xbox 360 game backups at 4x with no problems.
- robo989

EDIT3 - You can read reviews on the quality of the discs here....

Good deal for Dudal Layer discs. Remember not so long ago these were £3 each.

Yeah, the cheapest printable ones until a few weeks ago were around 65p until this brand turned up. Ebuyer and SVP are doing them for £4.99 and £4.89 respectively, but you have to pay postage as well as them being more expensive there.

A word of caution about these discs:-

They may seem cheap but this may not turn out to be the case. I've used these discs and I've never made so many 'coasters' with any other brand.

You have been warned. :-(

Just to back up the poster above said. I used to swear by these disks but something has happened of late where the quality has gone down hill and are now very unreliable.

Anyone considering dual layer my advice is to use one with the ritek dye people swear by the verbatim range but they are very dear. Fortis brand is getting a good rep at moment if that helps anyone.

As always mate, you find a really good disc and they are either took off the market or the manufacturer messes with the dye. :-D

I ordered 4 packs of these this morning. Its worth a gamble at this price. If the first pack fails ill take the others back as I live not far from scan anyway.

On a side note, the last pack of the none printable ones like these where fine. 8 out of 9 burned perfectly, 1 was a little dodgy at first but then worked anyway. Im not paying verbatim prices as there far too expensive.
#7
I had 20 of these from SVP and quality was hopeless, tried 3 different burners too.
#8
ive used these in the past and i got 1 successful disk out of 10
#9
I have these in my shop, i bought a pallet of them and they all work fine.New batches seem poor.Old ones are fine.

Ummm....

I use these discs on my Pioneer 112D crossflashed to a 112L and have never had a single coaster out of the dozens i've used for 360 backups.

Never, EVER burn a 360 game above 2x. If you do so, you're asking for trouble. Not even 2.4x - as this will result in data skips and disc read errors.
#11
these work fine at 4x on my nec ad-5170a latest firmware
used loads for xbox360 games.

does the free delivery work to northern ireland btw ?
#12
have you guys got the code?
#13
Ok then guys give us a clue how do we get the FREE delivery

I have a large amount of Fortis discs that I ordered to get some cheap cases...

but think I'm going to be stuck with them so if anyone is after multiples of 10 dual layer printable fortis discs than pm

I've burned 7, 6 so far have been successful (Fortis)

Are you talking about just these discs or any brand of disc? I burn 360 backups at 2.4x on Verbatims and Ive never even had a data skip let alone DRE's or coasters.

Tried these Aone and awarded them D-.
