Description:

Manufactured by RICOH & branded under the up and coming Aone umbrella, this disc has set a new precedent in Dual Layer pricing. Never before has anyone offered a Dual Layer disc at this price to anyone.

Tested to be highly compatible with DVD players and Video Game Consoles - customers report that they are especially compatible with the Xbox 360. With its extremely fast 8x write speed, you can write 8.5GB in less than 15 minutes!

Double-layer media has a capacity of 8.5GB, this equates to 240 minutes of video in standard play mode.

SEP (Super Extended Play): 960 min SLP (Super Long Play): 720 min EP (Extended Play): 480 min LP (Long Play): 360 min SP (Standard Play): 240 min HQ (High Quality Play): 120 min

I know delivery isn't the cheapest so don't vote cold for that.

Not too bad price, a little cheaper on the 'bay' if you want to go there.

These are awesome for XBox (ahem) backups though. I use these discs all the time with virtually no coasters.

oooo these seem cheap until you add the postage ...... they're obviously not £3.78 either .... add the VAT on top

just a word about aria .... expect anywhere between £4.50 and £9 ontop in postage ....

at best these would be around £9 delivered ... amazon do them for £6.72 delivered

Yes - they are dual layer DVD+R's - they are not DVD-RW's or single layer discs.

Also they are very good value for dual layer discs.

Edit - also at Ebuyer for £4.35 + cheapest delivery of £2.58 (delivery price stays the same for 2 packets) and goes upto £4.79 with 3 packets

Only 1 reviewer states that, maybe he was just lucky and got sent the wrong disks.

These are the discs I purchase and they have never been RW discs - in fact I've never even seen a DVD RW DL disc.

I burned a load of Xbox 360 games with these, they worked at first, then suddenly I got freezing, errors etc, avoid.

Might be fine for data/video
#16
I've used / continue to use them. Some coasters but generally OK.

You get what you pay for IMO.

I've been using these for a couple of years now for XBox games with no problems.

I have over 100 of these that worked perfectly for around 6 months. Now they won't read back reliably. 360 games, video or data it doesn't matter. The data on the 2nd disc layer just fades away. Avoid at all costs.
