It looks like this TV got built-in video recorder (PVR)! But PDF spec on site is VERY confusing. It says this telly is Analog only and no HDD. But eBuyer's spec says it got PVR and Freeview... Go figure.

Heads up! Read this thread: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=488660

Got all the info you would ever want! :)

You should note that Humax UK has officially said they will not fulfill the 2 years warranty (as they consider this is a grey import) - ebuyer said they would (however that is done - probably ship it back to whence it came - Germany!)

Positive review from one customer on ebuyer !

I was slightly worried in parting with nearly 650 beer tokens on a German branded HDTV that Id never seen or heard of before. The price was so good though that I deemed it worth a gamble. Boy, am I glad I did!

After doing some digging around Google I was able to get a fairly good impression that Humax seemed quite reputable, although most of the reviews Id found tended to be for smaller TVs.

I placed the order on Monday morning at 9:30am and the rather large and impressive looking cardboard box was sat in my living room by 3:00pm on Tuesday - bravo EBuyer!

Having taken the well packed TV out of the box I am over the moon with both it's sound and picture quality.

My primary purpose for getting this HDTV was to hook it up to my Xbox360 which had been limping along on a Bush 32" normal def telly. The difference is truly astounding!

At the full whack of 1080i you'll be knocked on your backside at the difference in quality. I feel like Ive had my eyeballs upgraded! The image is bright, vibrant and blur free.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the TVs speakers were pretty reasonable too. Obviously they won't challenge a decent separate sound system but they've got more than enough bass for your average Joe user like me.

All in all - if you're looking for a HDTV for your PS3 or Xbox360 you'd be rather silly to look past this brilliant bargain!

Chaps

There's no HDMI with this television. The inputs appear to be:

1 x RF
1 x sVid
1 x composite
1 x VGA
1 x DVI
1 x component
3 x scart

According to spec it comes with HDMI-DVI adaptor.

If there is no HDMI then I doubt it will be HDCP. Havent read much on this for a few months but when HD becomes main stream Sky and the likes were reported to be scrambling the signal, so if your tv does not allow you to descramble it (HDCP) then you may not be able to watch a lot of high def tv.

The DVI is HDCP and so when using the DVI -> HDMI converter it too will be HDCP.

if you havent got HDMI on your TV then you are nothing in this world

It has HDMI in the form of a HDMI > DVI adaptor.

Check reviews for it here as well

Purchased this TV based on Hotukdeals recommendation.

BRILLIANT value, huge monitor works excellent on VGA/Component/DVI/HDMI conversion and scart, menus are easy to understand and quick to navigate.

when i first received the TV it was set automatically to german, but looking in the english instruction manual guided me to switch the language to English, which you only have to do once thank god.

Currently enjoying it on max resolution via VGA on my Xbox360 and it deals great with motion and color repoduction, DVD's are also very well produced to say the picture has to be stretched over 40 inches!

I highly recommend this monitor from a tech perspective.
