Elsewhere it's around £18, so for £15.24 it's the best price (using code 15MAY-1), plus the 8% quidco should bring it down by over another £1 (edit: £1.21 tracked).

This is the 3 disc set previously released in the United States for a much higher cost (currently $45 on amazon.com!!!!). Presented in a deluxe 3 disc digi pack edition with the feature, redux and feature length behind the scenes documentary Hearts of Darkness, original press notes and artcards.

Francis Ford Coppola's stunning vision of man's heart of darkness revealed through the madness of the Vietnam War. Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) receives orders to seek out a renegade military outpost led by the mysterious Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando). Willard's mission: "Terminate with extreme prejudice." One of the most powerful films of all time, Apocalypse Now was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won Two for Best Sound and Best Cinematography. Based on the novel, 'Heart of Darkness' by Joseph Conrad. Includes early performances by Harrison Ford and Laurence Fishburne.

This is the Blu-ray premiere of one of the greatest films ever made!

From revered director Francis Ford Coppola and starring Marlon Brando, Martin Sheen, Harrison Ford and Dennis Hopper, this film is a must for any Blu-ray collection

I've watched a little of this set (a friend was reviewing it and wanted to view it on a different set-up) - seems good value to me, can't wait to see the whole thing.

I am so glad i waited, it seems for a change we(UK) dipped in, as this has been out in US for a bit, but was a small fortune to import, but we are getting the same version for peanuts!!!
#3
I wasn't keen on spending this sort of amount initially, but having read the reviews, I've just ordered!

Cheers!:)

Hearts of Darkness is worth the money alone, excellent documentary, the transfer is excellent too, one of the best films i've seen on Blu ray, especially as its 30+ yrs old
#6
The visuals and attention to detail that Capolla went to in making this film are truly stunning.
This does not look like a film that was made 30+ years ago.

I will pop in tesco tonight for food any way, Thanks OP.

Reissue, repackage, repackage
Re-evaluate the songs
Double pack, with a photograph
Extra track and a tacky badge...

This is a great film but I'm not buying it again.

I just want the film in HD without the bells and whistles. Hate paying a premium for the additional content.

I saw this at my local cinema last night. Never, in the field of entertainment have so many middle aged men been packed into a cinema!

I have been trying to pre order for a month and I can't get the site to work. Everytime I go to check out it doesn't recognize that I am logged in then if i enter my log in details again it just empties my basket.

Just tried, it's working fine for me. Logged in to my account and using Firefox.
Perhaps it's one time use, have you previously ordered anything else with the code?
#19
Yeah the code worked fine for me last night too, though I hadn't used it before so maybe it's a one time only.

Thanks OP, one of my favourite films, have it on VHS, have the steelbook double DVD which includes both versions (original much better in my opinion), but never seen the "hearts of darkness" documentary so tempted by this! The horror...
