I think this will be store specific but worth checking if you're in the market for one of these simultaneous dual band wireless-n routers.

PC World (Fosse Park, Leicester) had these on the shelf discounted to £125 from the normal £139 price.

These are the recently updated version (MC340B/A) with the revised antenna design to give better range and performance. These are priced at £139 online, where they are also clearing the previous dual band version (MB763B/A) for £117 (previously reduced to £125).

I suspect someone left the previous £125 discount pricing on the shelves before putting out the latest versions!

They scan at £139 at the till but I pointed out that the price was £125 on the shelves and they manually overrode it. Anyway it's a nice 10% discount on the normal price so I'm happy :)

If you want one, you may as well get it referb'd direct from Apple for £99 (their refurbs are generally good as new):
I don't think the refurb is the new 'Dual Band' version.

So if you have a mac and an iPhone (for example), it will revert to the slowest speed of the iPhone - 'G' instead of 'N'.

The newer ones transmit on both channels so each device is the fastest it can be.
Yep, it's a Dual band one:

AirPort Extreme works flawlessly with iPhone and Apple TV. It's compatible with 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi wireless clients. And because it's dual-band, you can set it up to work on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band, reducing the chance of radio interference. The AirPort Extreme Base Station is Wi-Fi Certified for 802.11n draft 2.0.
Incorrect - it's one or the other. So is an older model.

Hope that makes sense?

These are the newer ones
Simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi.

For maximum range and compatibility, Time Capsule works simultaneously on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, allowing all the devices on the network to use the most efficient band automatically. It uses the latest 802.11n wireless technology, so you can enjoy up to five times the Wi-Fi performance and up to twice the range of 802.11g wireless networks.4 And improvements in antenna design give you up to 50 percent better performance and up to 25 per cent better range than with the previous-generation Time Capsule.5
