Please do not waste your money, I bought this about six months ago for £25, my Ipad broke down few weeks ago.(Year 2) Took it to Apple store in Birmingham, they really messed me about, more interested in sales than after sales, to cut a long story short of frustration, they said both the Ipad protection has to be bought together. Apple think they are great but not really, just another brand getting big headed. Look what happened to Sony now next to nothing.

I think the Apple care has to be bought within 12 months from new so if it was bought 13 months from the iPad it's not valid it states that with the Apple site. I have posted a deal with John Lewis they have or had 3 year warranty and a 3 year accidental warranty for £70 but it got loads of cold votes. Anyone who buys a new iPad and pays monthly for a accidental warranty anywhere but John Lewis must be mad.

Yep. You have to register it within your initial warranty period.

True And if you dont buy applecare with your new apple product than you've to take your product to instore so they can inspect first and then will update your warranty for additional year.

Is this a deal. They were a fiver each last week in the Swansea store. Had about 5 or 6 packs on the shelf then. I picked one up and it said that it hhad to be activated within 12 months.

I almost bought one but then I remembered that I do not own an ipad or an iphone.

Applecare needs to be registered within the first 60 days for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad etc..)
