if your voting cold tell me a good deal then...

Amazon have refurbs for £750
#3
For new it is not a bad deal as you can collect one if urgent but you can get one from the Apple refurbished site for £819, or as the other poster said £755 as an open box from Amazon Warehouse.
This is not a cold deal but not too hot.

It should be about 18 degrees not -43! But the PC lovers are clicking wildly! :-D

A dualcore puter and geforce 9400M for 900 squids?

lol what a rip
#5
What is wrong with you idiots.
This guy has posted something that you can't find cheaper and you vote cold because you can get a refurb! I don't want a refurb or secondhand etc.....
If you don't like MAC then don't open the post you clowns.
It's no wonder people get fed up posting deals.

I think these forums need to change their rules. You should not be able to vote cold without an explanation.
It would stop morons ruining a great forum.

I cant believe im replying to this but you sir are the idiot!

If only there was a way to remove rep from you.(oh wait you have none).

Buy it if you think is good deal. i have not voted either way as feel this is overpriced (even if is cheapest around.)

I do hope i am entitled to my own opinion??

Though i doubt you think i am.

Good day to you.

Thanks goes to the OP for posting the deal.

It is the best deal for this product. If you are looking for this product then this forum should be able to help you find it.
Whilst ill informed people who have no intention of buying the product or offering a cheaper alternative for the same product keep voting cold then the people who need the best price will not find it.
As to having an opinion, that is exactly what I have asked for. If you want to vote cold your reason/opinion should be noted so people who want the product know why it is getting cold votes.

I think Ferrari's are overpriced but for someone who is looking for one, if there is a deal on this forum, I shouldn't stop them from finding it just because I don't want one or I think it isn't worth it.
The idea is to post the best available prices for people who want a product.

People can vote cold for whatever reason they like.

It may be the cheapest price out there but in my opinion it's still a dreadful deal which is why I voted an ice-chilled COLD.
#10
You don't seem to get it do you?
You vote cold but have no reason. You obviously know nothing about the product or it doesn't suit your needs. But for those whose needs it does suit, you are stopping them ever seeing it.
#11
ehh? I know plenty about the product and you're perfectly right, it doesn't suit my needs at all. I gave a legitimate reason for voting cold and that reason was, at that price, it doesn't suit anyone's needs!

hot from me - apple are in a class of there own, some people just look at the spec but i look for the whole package and apple has it for me
#13
I've voted hot!

Some people just look at a logo.

to true, but i suppose you have to weigh up all the options, i like the style/design of the imac's and as my uncle works for them i get free repairs and cheaper products.... its a winner for me, but it is true you can get the same spec comps for half the price

It's quality and performance. The logo does look nice though when lit up.

Hot from me. Whether you like Macs or not, I can't see any better deal and comparing new to refurb, especially when there is surpisingly little difference in price, doesn't make much sense to me.

Very poor deal in its totality.
Jeez, HUKD is not a price-comparison website, it's about deals. This is not a deal by any stretch of the imagination.:p

It's a deal for those that are looking for an iMac.

owww... very tempted! Fired up the old desktop after having the company laptop taken away from me (got made redundant - not cos I forgot to turn on private browsing)... any ways, it's an AMD 3000+ with 2gb Ram and the old thing takes forever to do anything!

And no, it's not full of stuff, just done full reformatt - it' just slow.

Partner has a Macbook and i've gone through 2 £400 laptops in the same time frame.

Yes Apple stuff is expensive but personally they build their stuff very well & thats why they cost a little more.
Hot from me, thanks OP :-)

i think its a great deal for a new mac sure you can get refurbs but most of the time the refurbs have less memory, less hd space, less everything.if i had the money id buy this for my studio in a shot.
#21
to be honest with you i think people mostly vote hot on items that are cheap and affordable to them. This doesnt apply to evryone so they just vote cold.. People should have there own opinion but shouldnt vote cold on a biased say.. Personally im not into computers so i aint voting, but i think too many people on this website just see the price and vote cold even if they dont know nothing. Its sad for the people trying to help out. Cuz they put a good deal on and then gets voted cold for no fair reason.. still voted hot.

6% code not showing as valid anymore but the 5% one does and quidco is available @ 3% meaning this works out as £874 which seems pretty good to me.
