Just came across this by accident, suspect it will be very limited stock at this price, but decided to share the love!

Comes with 12 month warranty, so even though it's DSG it should be fairly low risk!

Possible Quidco at 3% too.

I recently got a 32GB refurb direct from Apple for £339.
This is obviously a much better price but I'm wondering what the refurb. here actually means?

The Apple one is basically new. they replaced the case, battery, box and offered a full one year warranty. If this deal is similar then this should get very hot in here.

This is so far the cheapest! Smoking hot with this price!

Any screed bleed? Recently purchased a refurb 16GB wifi iPad from Apple but it had bad screen bleed so had to return. The price for this 64GB is amazing I really want to pull the trigger...

I've gone for the 3G + Wifi 32Gb one myself with free delivery on a specific day. Fingers crossed this isn't a huge misprice :)

Whats the Dixon return policy for refurbs?

I bought the ipad for my wife but i must admit to having played around with it.
I use a Desire HD myself and I prefer android to ios. I also find the lack of flash integration pretty poor on the ipad.
Still, the ipad looks amazing and is easy to use. My wife is very happy with it.

I returned two iPad 1's to Currys last year with dead pixels and terrible screen bleed, so would be worried if these were being sold again by Dixons.

I do know that Apple limit how many faulty units retailers can return so they have to refurb themselves and sell on. That's why I had to fight like hell to swap what I saw as faulty iPads when they disagreed.

Ah might leave it then. Not even apple could get a non faulty unit to me and if these have been refurbed by Dixons themselves.....

Price is great though.

Knew I should have waited a little longer....
Good deal.

You be better off using Dropbox
I use it on my phone, home PC & Laptop & sync all my important files

Great deal, gone for this. I imagine the apple store would be able to help should something go wrong. You are basically getting an extra 16gb storage and 3g functionality for less than the apple store charge for a 16gb wifi refurb.
#25
Hmmm, the 64gb one is *very* tempting.

No you can't technically do that although various apps do allow you to transfer files onto the ipad letting you use it basically as a giant hard drive (you'd be better using a pen drive for that). The bluetooth is very limited and there is no USB input/output on the ipad.
#27
8) Voted hot even though the 64gb is the better deal this is also a great deal imo
#28
What's the advantage of the 64GB with no 3g? I know more storage, but isn't the 3G a big +?
Looks like a pricing mistake to me, the other ipad refurbs are more for less, if you see what I mean. Still....tempted.
#29
Does anyone who has a 3G ipad feel its suited to use out an about, personally I have never thought about the need to use 3g on these (I have a wifi only one) when a smart phone can surf adequately and is much lighter.
#30
Unfortunately the 5% code on Quidco - IPAD3G325 - doesn't work. Bargain though. Ordered!
#31
They are actually refurbished by an authorised Apple reseller, can't recall the companies but sure someone could confirm

Yup Dropbox rocks. even works on my android phone so I can sync photos taken on phone straight to ipad.

32GB + 3G OOS now :( waited too long.
#34
"product unavailable".

It was a mistake I think, of the refurbs, the 3g 16b was 399, the 3g 32gb was 279. Likely meant to be the other way around
#35
32GB + 3G one now saying product not available.
64GB page is still working. (£279 also)
link to 64GB one:

ordered the 32GB + 3G, now wondering if I should have gone for 64gb instead.

lets hope they will honour the price!

update: 64GB version showing product unavailable as well now.
