484.00 + No flash = No thanks.

I cant see how this can play most internet content as most sites use flash for videos, I know you can get you tube on this, but what about the other 85% of the sites that use flash ?

Never understood this, I have not voted, just curious as to how you view on-line videos

HTML5 is the answer. To be honest, you don't notice it.

Although, I wouldn't pay the wifi premium. Better off getting a 16gb wifi one and a mifi from 3. It's cheaper, you can use the mifi for other devices and when you upgrade, you can get the cheaper, non 3g one again.

So, it's a cold from me.

Also add to that, no SD card slot, no USB. Don't get me wrong, I think iProducts are brilliant specimens of machinery... but lacking these basic tools and the high price tag makes this a no-no for me.

I think with the Asus Transformer out and Intel launching a stack of tablets soon, Apple have slipped up with the Ipad limiting it too much.

well at the moment these are like hens teeth......stores selling out as fast as they get stock in......Asus Transformers are readily available....no shortage of stock...(Amazon,Ebuyer for starters).....so surley that states Apples grip of the market at the moment ????

There will always be better specced tablets with more features out there, but the iPad will always sell better than the rest due to its early introduction to the market and the established OS and app store.

My point is not about in stock. It is about using the code to make it £15 cheaper than others.

The only tablet that can compete with ipad is probably new Samsung galaxy tab which is not out yet. Ipad is more limited when it comes to flash. But it is much more user friendly and almost everyone knows how to use it. (My 65year old grandma for example).

I hope anyone waiting to buy ipad will see this thread and benefit from the voucher, cashback and clubcard point.

Tnank you for posting the deal.
However I tried an Asus Transformer in a shop and it is good and user reviews point to it being serious competition to the ipad. I have Apple products but now Apple are trying to tell us what we need and not listening to what people want. IMO

While all the other manufacturers **** about trying to beat each others specs Apple will continue to make and sell the most popular tablet in existence.
