  and be careful as ebay/paypal do not cover warranties if the seller does not provide paperwork etc its in there small print that they keep quiet. so be careful if you dont know the seller.

  You just go in to an apple store and they will fix it if it breaks and it is not your fault. You can also get an estimated purchase date online from Apple that will tell you how much warranty is left. There is a small possibility that you can upload your purchase order from ebay to Apple and they will start the 12 months applecare from the date of purchase (I have had this work when I bought a refurb from currys ebay but I cannot vouch for this seller).

  I should add to the above that as far as I know, Apple work by serial numbers and estimated purchase dates in the absence of documentation so you shouldn't have to rely on paperwork from this company.
