  So for those with a 16gb iPad... Does it provide sufficient storage? Do you end up juggling apps about? Tempted to get a 32gb but begrudge paying an extra 80 quid for 16gb extra storage.

  
  
  The 14 gb you get is next to useless TBH, especially when some games or apps can be up to 1gb. Then throw in some movies and photos and you will struggle.

  All the apple haters ever say is oh but it don't have flash now these people know why apple don't use flash and thats because it uses way too much ram and processing power HTML 5 will over take flash which is much more stable anyway adobe who make flash have said they are pulling the plug on it on mobile devices anyway and going down the HTML route most websites have started to implement this so sorry apple haters but this one dont work anymore what other things are you going to say why apple products are poor X)

  I've moved from an Android tablet to the new iPad and it's the best move I've ever made. I still have an android phone but the ipad beats android tablets hands down. Apps are better, the whole UI is far smoother and hardly lags at all. The refine display is lovely and it's worth the extra compared to an android tablet. These will hold better value than android tablets. Good price for this 16gb is enough as I stream most my stuff and don't really game that much. As a reader and Web browsing machine its excellent. Also use mine to stream live tv from my box.

  Re earlier post: Whilst HTML5(+CSS3) will end Flash dominance for interactive web-apps at sone point that is not the case - yet! You simply can't currently achieve the same cross-browser experience with HTML5!
  
  For me Apple do not allow Flash for one reason, it would lose them a lot of money! - You would not need to wade through the tripe in the (cr)App Store! The RAM and stability arguments for iOS Flash are weak at best!
  
  I do have iPhone(s) and an iPad which do a great basic job, but I'm not a typical Apple fan-boy happy to believe whatever crap Apple say!

  The nexus 7 isn.t setting out to rival iPad 3 ( or samsung galaxy s's for that matter) so why are so many numpties going on about rivalling iPads. The nexus 7 is going for the mid market to bring touchscreen Internet to the masses.

  I have a 32 Gb, after OS and conversion to GB (which is what the OS reports capacity in) it has 27.9 GB useable storage.
  
  I got it a few weeks after launch and currently have 18.1GB free. That includes a few large games and some mags/newspapers etc from the news stand, the rest are my smaller Apps. there are no videos or music on it. Given I load it up with some PDFs/DOCs and maybe a movie/mags/papers for the plane I think 32GB is about right for me. With a 16GB I'd probably be juggling Apps on and off every time I travel and this is after only a few months of ownership.

  This site makes me chuckle. The idea of the forum is to vote on whether the item is question is a good deal; I don't understand why some forum members vote cold and leave unhelpful comments because of a 'similar' product that performs 'similar' tasks.
  
  This is a HOT deal as its cheaper than nearly everywhere - no argument. The Nexus deal is also HOT.
  
  For those that wish to promote an alternative option, why not try a statement such as:
  "Voted Hot, great for those in the market for an iPad - However personally I would prefer a XXX because of XXX".
  This shows the OP the respect they deserve for spending the time to help other forum members whilst allowing you to put forward an alternative option a relatively intelligent manor.
  
  I have always used Android products but last month I decided to buy an new iPad. I'm so glad I did as its an amazing piece of kit. I still love my Android tablet, but for completely different reasons.
