Cold because .....

Defo too good to be true links on the website do not even work.

Cold from me, a minimum 3-4 year old tablet, that is grade B, and no longer supported by Apple (some apps won't work on ipad1).

Pay a little more for something better. And I say this as someone with an ipad 2! so not saying everyone must have the latest and greatest by any means.

Cold because these devices are slow and no longer supported, the majority of newer apps aren't even available to install.
Avoid buying one, I have one and it is literally only used for the Cbeebies app for my young son to play with. Really not worth the money any more.

For £99 I wouldn't mind having one of those for video playback, net surfing etc.

If the core apps (social media, youtube and email) aren't supported then it'd a huge waste.
I can expect games not to work, but what would you expect for a high quality out dated device?

But if the ipad 2 isn't that much more I'd suggest spending that little extra. But not sure if it's £50-100 more for a 16gb 2nd gen. Stopped looking into ipad after getting myself the 4th gen.

You can get a 64gb model with 3g for around £130 buy now off ebay.

Sold my iPad 1 to a friend last year when I upgraded. Sadly a lot of apps no longer supported, which a bit disappointing for a device which only 4 years old. Not the best of deals unfortunately, might work better if jailbroken ? Love my iPad 4 but if apple go the same way and no longer support it in a few years time then I may well defect to Samsung!!!
Not voting cold as respect for posting and might be a good deal for some...

I have went for a trip down google strret maps on this and there is no way the address is that of a business that i can see let alone find.

Has been around for a while, but that means nothing in this day.

i would AVOID this company and maybe the mods would like to keep an eye on this one due to the amount of pretty terrible reviews they have recieved on Trustpilot.

I hope this helps your decision.

SVP is a pretty well known company used by many on here. I used to buy CDs and DVD from them a few years ago. I wouldn't go for this 1st gen iPad though.

I've used SVP for over 10 years now, mainly for discs etc......never had a single problem. Price is good also, I quite like the iPad 1 even though I've got a 4.

I've used SVP for years as well. I had a problem ONCE where they sent me the wrong item, and they resolved it by shipping out the correct one by next day delivery, and letting me keep the other one for free. They used to be the biggest name in blank optical media on the internet, but the bottom's kind of fallen out of that now since almost nobody uses discs any more, and the price of writeable Blu Rays never really got competitive enough to drive a new generation.

does anyone know what battery life is like on this tablet given its 4years(?) old, how many hours between charges?

Felt mine was too slow for even surfing due to the old wifi type and that was a good 2-3 years ago.good price though compared to ebay Buy it now, wouldn't reccomend it myself.
