Apple iPads now in Refurb store £389.00 @ Apple

First deal.

I check HUKD and the Apple website often and haven't seen iPads at this price before. Granted, they're refurbs, but I've had an AppleTV and many iPods from the refurb store - you get a warranty and everything's as-new.

I snagged at 16GB wifi for £389 but almost all the models were still available at the time of posting.

i have purchased 3 refurb ipods and they are new for all intents and purposes nobody would know tis refurb so £40 saving is still very good x

All of my mac purchases have been through the refurb store and every single one was as new. You'd be crazy to waste the extra for 'new' new. There is never any cosmetic damage or anything. They're just returns generally which they often could sell as new like a lot of stores do.

Viking direct are selling theirs at cost price. I have a work account and kicked up a fuss as missed on their free wii deal and I got 2 at 359.00 for the 32g 3g! :D

I purchased an imac as an apple refurb and its perfect, cant tell any difference and still the same warranty as the new unit but saved my self over £300
this gives people to chance to pay less for one of the most wanted gadgets currently.

i agree as our i pod touches went wrong and they dont repair they replace with a refurb so you walk away with one rather than wait for a repair and they have been fine. I should have brought refurbs and saved some pounds lol

We got a free refurbished ipod touch when the battery in ours fried itself. Apparently anything that is not perfect at the end of the production run goes through again and is classed as a refurb. In our case every bit as new.

Personally I would pay the 10% extra though if I wanted one, fortunately it is a gadget I have no need of and no aspiration of owning.

Having bought an ipod classic and a MacBook from the refub store, I can honestly say I would never purchase from it again. Had nothing but problems with both, and have finally broken down and bought a new ipod as the refurb model was bobbins.

MacBook going back yet again for another HDD replacement and battery replacement.
