I have just rang T-Mobile to cancel my contract as i wanted the iphone 3gs and they said that they now do the Iphone through a company called chitter chatter and for the £35 a month contract, 16gb phone you only pay £78 for the phone.

Is this a good deal i thought it was; anyone had any experience of chitter chatter?

that's brilliant news, my upgrades due tomorrow with T Mobile. If this is the real deal, then im in. cheers
#3
thankyou Smartly. that clears up alot of questions
#4
be aware its definitely not 3GS.

It's only 3G

Its £93 for the 8gb on a 18 month contract and the 16gb is £78 for a 24 month contract. you can get both versions for 18/24 month price varies.
and £35p/m as OP says.

chitter chatter buy the iphones from Italy and supply to t-mobile. so they are unlocked to all networks because of this.

Yes i just called as my contract is due up december and she reeled off a load of deals. I did ask a few times that it was the 3gs and not just the 3g and she said yes. She is calling abck in 30 mins :)
#6
how much do you spend on average on your bill nikkipink?
#7
I spend £35 a month at the momet on a flext plan, i am not a muge user but fancied the unlimited internet and texts.
#8
had enough of tmob! spent over 60£ a month for past three years without upgrading and they didnt offer me nothing, took my pac code and done the O2/Quidco deal!

and its 3G not 3Gs, the staff probably dont have a clue what their talking about
#9
im the same. however from wat ive read u are meant to be spending more than £75 a month. i wish this works, otherwise im leavING T mobile forever and ever, THIS RELATIONSHIP IS OVER, OVER!

Great article, have some rep!
#11
they were previously offering it for big spenders but now give it to anyone who spends £30+ per month. but you have to say you're leaving first!

nikkipink please confirm it's 3GS and the name of customer services person you spoke to becuase i asked for 3GS and they said they dont have it.
#12
The 8gb is a 3g and the 16gb is 3gs i am on the phone to the guy at the moment

It will be a mistake. It might be intentional, or it might be they don't know what they are talking about. But with no record of the call centre staff saying it, you will be stuck with 3G and not 3GS, no matter what they say.

Seems about right. They stopped making the 3G 16gig version, that's why o2 insurance will give you a 3GS 16 gig instead if you have your phone lost/stolen.

The 3G 8gig is still made (prob to get rid of the old 8gig memory), so you are able to get that.

T-mobile = Nasty!
#16
I am getting the 3gs 16gb 24 months contract for £35 a month paying £85.50 for the phone with next day delivery.
#17
So, I think I'm right in assuming that this is a deal for current tmob customers who are upgrading, and not for anyone else?
#18
Not sure, just rang to cancel as i was going to go to O2 and they informed me that from today they were doing the 3GS, mine is ordered and arriving tomorrow :)

Ian from the loyalty team is who i spoke to

The phone is factory unlocked, similar to the iPhones being sold on Play.com.
#21

Cool, well done. Will be nice to see some proof when it arrives tomorrow as it does sound like T-Mobile have made an error.
#23
I asked the guy at chitter chatter if it was a 3Gs too and he said yes; i'll be well annoyed if it isn't
#24
I can confirm that these are 16gb 3gs phones. Confirmed by both t mobile and chitter chatter. Cheapest deal is on Combi 30, which is 800 mins, unlimited text and internet for £35 on a 24 month contract. The phone cost is £78.51 on this deal and £6.99 p & p. Just bought two! What a great post = many thanks!!!

Apple don't make a 3G 16GB anymore, simple as that.

3G 8GB
3GS 16Gb & 32GB

Those are the only models available anywhere in the world so I highly doubt it is a mistake, not to mention that on a £35 contract for 24 months she said she still has to pay £85 for the phone which is £2 cheaper than O2 so I really really doubt it is a mistake and she will be enjoying her new 3GS as of tomorrow.

That's the point of this deal! Buy the I phone, which is unlocked and sell it on. Then buy the much cheaper g2 touch (or whatever) to replace it. Sorted!!!

So give it some heat people :)

Seriously this is a good deal. I have been looking for an upgrade for several months and this def comes tops for this price. Cheaper than 02 and the new Orange deals. If you keep it you'll enjoy it but if you sell it you will make a good profit.
#34
Is the 32gb iphone available?
#35
HOT - T-Mobile never seem to get the decent phones!

Does anyone have a contact number and name to call and chat to about this. My T-Mobile contract is ending this month and was looking to get an iPhone with Orange or O2. Hadn't decided yet. But if available with T-Mobile then I'd go for that.

Thanks
#38
I had called up to cancel last week and never got offered this! :( want an iphone. They renewed my contract but i didnt realise they did it on combi and not flexi so returned phone and on old contract.

Will call again to see if this is avail and if not prob just go with orange
#39
i got offerd the 3g but not the 3gs on monday when i done a upgrade on t-mob
#40
my contract ends on the 11/02/2010 but "My-TMobile" online account says my upgrade is due 11/11/2009.

Anyone know where I stand with getting this deal? and what number do you call?
