Great price, I have a 'love hate' relationship with iPods. Don't think I could bear to give up using my beloved iRiver H340 :)

Yeah... a friend of mine is also iRiver addict. iRiver can be serious competitor for IPOD if they lower the prices, a bit, IMO. :)

Thanks MBeeching

Very good price :) Thanks edi

I've got an iriver h320 but it's just about full so i'm looking for something to replace it. The new irivers arn't so good though. They seem to have gone from being welll ahead of ipods to now being lagging a bit. Wish i had bought an h340 now, they're worth as much on ebay now as they were new. This 80gb is quite tempting though, thanks for pointing it out. If only it was black...

How do i get to the ipod from the boots.com homepage? Seems to be cosmetics only??
#6
sorry it's not the boots.com homepage, but i still can't seem to get to it from the quidco link. Anyone else managed it?
#7
yea, just went into quidco, found the boots link. Then once the boots homepage opens just type in ipod 80gb...finds it straight away :)

But they do have it in black @ boots?
#9
The black one is out of stock though.

Lookms like some people on MSe are having the same problem as me. It keeps taking me here:

am i right in thinking that the money off with boots points goes onto the card, and you can't actually BUY this ipod for 188 pounds ? but instead buy it for about 218 pounds but get 35 ish pounds onto your boots card ?

the ebuyer one is the older generation 60gb video ipod.
#13
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/117660 £238.47 on ebuyer

I think I'll wait for the next generation ipod and hope for a good deal on that :) I'd have been more tempted if the black was in stock but thanks for the spot edi!!

Wow that`s a great Price

Can anyone find a mobile phone deal with alot of points included.

If boots were to have a deal where you bought the simcard and recieved the amount you pay in line rental in advantage points you could effectively buy this ipod on interest free credit by using those points to buy it.

I suppose you'd have to do something like that quickly so you'd have enough time to go through the credit check, but that's a good way to buy this thing if you want to buy something else and the combined value is around the price of a years line rental for a mobile phone contract.

Cant spend points online!

You can also get the 80GB ipod for £233 from savastore.com

Apple have announced yet another 'secret' press release for mid November. Read the article on T3 but can't find it now, rumor has it they are finally releasing the long awaited touch screen ipod in time for Christmas - expect prices to fall...!

Hi, I was also wondering the same thing. Whenever I click the link in quidco it sends me to http://bootsus.bri-global.com/ I get nothing from entering ipod in the search box.

I noticed at the bottom of the page it says Boots Retail USA - Is the link in quidco wrong or am I missing something obvious!? :)
[admin]#20
I clicked the Quidco link and it takes me to the normal Boots site. Maybe you have some spyware changing the link or something?
#21
Yeap... Quidco Boots link works fine at my end :)
#22
I think it's something to do with the boots site rather than quidco because when I go to boots.com (even directly, not just through quidco) at home it still takes me to http://bootsus.bri-global.com/

Works fine at work though so I ordered a 30gb one in black - thanks!

are you using firefox?

Sometimes with firefox if it can't find the site it searches for the text in the address bar and forwards you there.

Its a handy way to search for a page just by typing keywords in the address bar...either that or you have some spyware probs going on!
#24
I'm using Safari on OSX, we've also tried Firefox and IE on a Windows laptop, with no luck. I get the same thing as nick_sub when I enter the address manually. Weird.

Cheers Edi
