Apple iPod nano 8GB 4th gen (latest shape) Apple refurb £89.00.(+Quidco)

£89.00 @ Apple
This is the latest shape and version of the Apple iPod nano. Apple's refurbished items come in a plain box but apart from that are as new. These sell very fast. There is also Quidco

I think only if you're a new customer, I used up my last discount when I took up the K800i mobile offer a while back.

Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

What do they mean when they say "refurbished"? ones that people ordered and returned or faulty ones that had been repaired?

I'm looking to get an Ipod for kids birthday.

Just had a look and also saw "special deals" ipdod nano 4GB silver for £58 (Out of Stock); refurbished ipod classic 80GB for £113

Maybe as it's the best deal without the risk of a cashback voucher?

When you buy refurb from Apple, it is basically new. Generally Apple refurbs are things like dead hard drives and screens, the only thing different from this being new is it will come in a plain box. That's it. Apple are well known for their excellent refurb range, especially Macs.

Why is this hot?
£8.65 cheaper than brand new on amazon... only a small saving, and is it worth it to get a refurb? http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Apple-iPod-nano-8GB/dp/B001E97GEE/

What's the point you only save £8.65 compared to brand new on amazon

Apple refurbs are good, I paid £70 incl delivery for my nano 3g 8gb a few months back. It was as good as new. They go through the same process as the normal ones, including cleaning so they shouldn't be marked, if they are, it will only be slight which is something which will happen fairly quickly anyway.
