Apple Macbook Pro 13.3" 2.26Ghz model only £835.00 at eBuyer. I did do a quick google search but not luck finding it cheaper (admittedly it was not the most thorough search). Apple have this at £918 so this is a pretty good deal, one little difference is that spec at ebuyer says OS X Leopard rather than snow leapoerd but still much cheaper than anywhere else. Google says play.com has it cheaper at £809 but i check and it's wrong, it's actually more expensive than apple (anyone explain why?). Anyway i'm personally waiting for the next gen with intel i5 processors but hope this helps someone.

p.s. why can't apple just have VGA ports on their macbook?? WHYYYYY????

just saw it is slightly cheaper at pixmania but i would pay a bit more just to avoid them and get it from ebuyer!
#2
Good price, but like you said I'd wait for the new processors.
#3
Good price, but if you are a student it can be had for even less from Apple direct, and this model is supposed to be replaced soon
#5
When is the new model coming out?

When is the new model coming out?

Nobody knows; its just speculation at the moment, but past history indicates and update is overdue.

VGA = big 'n' old :)
#13
i picked one of these up on apple refurb last week for £765 - same warranty as a new machine and not a mark on it.
#14
Now just £818.40 on Amazon.

160GB, pass. 2GB. pass. heating inducing chassis, pass. osx, pass. cold
#16
BlackAle pass, ignorant people pass

don't knock it til you try it

heating issues have been sorted. osx is a matter of preference. 2gb ram is enough for most, as is 160gb hd
