Have to agree, awful post. Voucher is generic to Apple products from Apple online store, as is the Quidco discount. So what is so good about a £1299 MRP?

I think its to highlight the arrival of the Santa Rosa MB Pro - at least it serves to let people know a new one is out.

Yes exactly. Due to this post I was able to return a recent PB purchase to get the new one for free.

I know for PC people it's not so exciting but for Apple fans any upgrade news is usually a big deal - and there are quite a few Mac people on here.

I think its a good post - but I still cant decide between macbook, mini or pro :-(

An informative post but a hot deal! Not as far as I can see; it’s just a product announcement.

That's the point I was making but not in so many words!

Incidentally, I use a MacBook Pro as well as a PC, so I'm not Apple bashing. I just can't see that this is a Hot Deal.

It'll soon be a case of MB or MBP if the rumours are right. The Mini is widely expected to be culled in favour of the ATV (rubbish for the UK). Don't know what the new LED MBPs look like but but the MBs are stunningly bright.

You'd have to be crazy not to use the Apple Education Store and get another 15% or so off...
