Great price new. However personally I'd recommend a refurb from Apple for £59 - got one last week and condition is as new not 1 mark on it and would never be able to tell it's a refurb

Good price but o agree with shanewba90 a refurb is basically brand new. A new version 4 is just about to be released as well tho thats why price has dropped to clear residue stocks

Pointless now smart tvs are out.

ChrisUK I think the new Sony Bravia TV's are WLAN compatible and will connect to any phone and stream it's contents without Apple TV or similar. Only know because a friend has one and can do exactly the same as I do with my iphone and Apple TV. So the technology has caught up bud.

Ps you are right though in one sense because it's crazy to pay hundreds for a new tv when Apple TV or similar are sub £100

I guess your aggressive response above is why you got suspended then Chris?

Agree with you, very little to gain by buying brand new over the refurb.

Very tempting at £59

Worth it for movie box alone

I was suspended for using an inappropriate word in this day of age - oh the joys of being PC compliant ;)

That's all I actually use it for - the amount of people I've got to purchase iPads since Moviebox came out has been extraordinary. Apple must have made millions off the back of Moviebox alone.

Yes indeed :p

It was certainly a very quick detention though...must have been a mild swearword? lol

In usual HUKD style, I'm tempted but question whether or not I need one :p

I have the Mac Mini connected as a media server to my AV amp at present and although most of the time the Samsung Plex client on my TV does its job, there can be times where I have to resort to playing from the Mac Mini itself - at a slight [email protected] ache.

Open question, would I gain anything by also integrating the Apple TV into the mix?. Would I still be able to use Plex? Would I actually need to use Plex?.

....any good advice appreciated ;)

Edited By: DAZZ2000 on Jul 02, 2014 20:58: Resolved the second question myself :)
