Apple 'Pixirosso'
Malus domestica
Hardy Tree
A real gem! When fully ripe, Pixirosso has fresh, crisp flesh which is a spectacular bright pink-red colour with dramatic white flashes running through it. Bred in Switzerland by Hans Wiki, a fruit breeder known for novelty and diseaseresistant apples, this delicious and visually stunning apple has a lovely sweet taste, unlike many other red-fleshed apples that have been bred in the past. The tree is avigorous grower and also sports a very attractive red blossom and red leaves. Pixirosso comes from a family of red-fleshed apples which can be traced back to the last surviving wild apple forests of Kazakhstan. Budded onto M9 rootstock to give a wellbalanced tree, the trees are easily pollinated by all mid season-flowering group apples.

Does anyone else think the apple picture looks like somebody lying on a bed with burnt feet?

free delivery code works if you put it in the box at the top of the checkout page.
Also had a unique £5 voucher code they sent me in the mail a few weeks ago (a mixture of letters and numbers, 12 in total, expires 27th May) - I put this one in the bottom voucher box.
So i've ordered my tree for £5.99 delivered with possible 12.12% topcashback too
Getting a bit late for planting apple trees maybe, but worth a go at that price.
Many thanks for posting the deal, mmmkbb
Is it self-fertilising?
