Aqueous Cream B.P. 500g at PoundLand £1.00

In our house, Aqueous Cream has replaced soap, to save my hands and I normally pay at least £2.40 at superdrug, but I found it for £1 today in PoundLand. (Newcastle)
I use it to refill "pump action" dispensers.
I reckon this will save me (and the wife and kids) about £50 a year.

Home Bargains sell it for about this price too. My wife and son use it like it's going out of fashion also.

You can actually get it free on the "minor ailments" scheme (without abusing the scheme if your kids have dry skin)

Have a look at this thread. Really useful.

In some areas also known as care at the chemist. Can get a heap of stuff without paying, great for kids stuff. So long as you can prove to chemist who you local GP is, so that they know you are local, most areas have something similar

Depending on how many prescriptions you get, you might save money with a pre-payment certificate from: http://www.ppa.org.uk/ppa/ppc_intro.htm

Here's the figures from their web site:

People who have to pay for more than 3 prescription items in 3 months, or 14 items in 12 months, could save money by buying a PPC. From 1 April 2008, the charge for a single prescription item is £7.10, whereas a 3-month PPC will cost you £27.85 and a 12-month PPC £102.50.

Hope his is helpful.

I have used this cream for a couple of years now with no problems, i originally used it for my face as i suffered from dry skin after shaving, but now use it as a replacement for soap.

Good find! I use it instead of soap and it leaves my skin feeling amazing. Thankfully I get it free on prescription, but this is a great price. Heat added!

I just recently bought a tub of this for £3.99 from boots, so this is a great price. Boots had a poster with all the ways you can use it: shaving cream, face and body wash, moisturiser. All great all round product.
Must have
