There are a few more good deals on the web site (look in the clearance) where they are selling some bathroom taps etc with over £100 knocked off - Great Deal !
#9
Style over substance for me - think it would take you quite a while just to get wet under this spray head.
#10
They look very stylish but in practice dont put out a very wide spray so are pretty ineffective.

They always have this 'clearence section' on Plumbworld - it doesn't really change at all.

Always price compare before jumping in thinking you've got a great deal.

yep...we are a nation of fatties......lol :p

I have a similar model to this and I just don't think the design/style makes up for the functionality.

These minimal rectangular heads simply don't spray water over a large enough area.

The nozzles are angled on mine too, similar to brohood, but it hardly makes a difference. The nozzles aren't angled on this so it's probably worse!

Other than that, in general, this is a very good buy! I'm looking for a wider head but similar style.

Still voting hot, but just be wary of the head design.

Is this one exactly the same? Why is there such a massive price difference with original price?

Oh and by the way I'm sure you can't sell anything other than BS in UK can't you?

Had it over a year now and works perfectly still and quality is top notch. £340 delivered for the shower tray, cubicle, bar shower and wooden stand has to be a bargain in anyone's book.

Bar shower mixers should never cost anymore than £100 unless they are Grohe or similar.

MFI take the **** with their prices.

Indeed! Good job with it.

It's amazing what stuff you can DIY in the house and save thousands!

I even learned to plaster.

I would never attempt plastering but was surprised how easy it was to tile walls & floor and fit the sinks etc.

good find, hot :)

Yeah you've done a good job. But I was talking more about the aesthetics of it. It looks nice becuase the black and white look good.

Plus in this day and age you just go on t'internet and find out how to do tiling or plastering (not trying to rain down on your parade ;-) ). Sure you have got to be good with your hands but t'is not exactly rocket science is it?

Damn I do like your bathroom! Looks very professional (tiling is good).
#34
Does anyone who is familiar with this shop know how they usually price things? Do they have a sale on? I'm looking for an electric shower 'box' and everything has two prices, one crossed out - I wasn't sure if this was their usual price (ie. they've got a sale at present) or the RRP.

Thanks!

total cost for everything was £1100 which I think was a bargain considering the floor tiles are granite and the sink is oversized.

There's a lot more to reading about how to do it - it's more about experience really.

As for plastering, there's hardly anything you can read that will seriously help you, you have the pratice like mad.

I do actually thank-you very much as I've just been looking around myself at prices in some local stores and on line at similar things (due to a current diy project ie refitting my fathers bathroom!) - all top whack in comparison, and as a number of associates of mine are plumbers or involved in related trades and have reliably stated that these are very cheap prices; I think I am justified in in stating a fact I have found.

Obviously if you have found other sites where these items or similar may be found at these prices or less, please spend you time listing them on this site, instead of trying to achive what might be perceived as cheap hits at other member expense - I don't think that this web site was set up for those reasons!
