I feel burned for getting my £220 Archos 5 60GB last year.
It's unbeatable for tv/movies on the train, but considering how often that happens, I wish I'd saved my cash!

I think even the most creative would avoid calling this refurbished, it is simply second hand with no suggestion of refurbishment!

It depends. The Archos 7 8GB is a lower spec which makes web browsing and task laggy but has the benefit of a larger screen. The Archos 5 is better specced with a faster processor so web browsing and tasks run smoothly. There are some good side by side comparison videos on YouTube which are worth viewing if you can't decide which one to go for.
